Excursão de um dia para pequenos grupos às Cavernas Waitomo e Te Puia Rotorua

Hanoz was our guide. He had the 8 people in the group introduce themselves. I mostly enjoyed the caves. My son loved the geysers. Anyway, I loved that they were generous with their bottled drinking water and snacks. Their transport allows you to charge your phones. The ostrich feeding experience was fun.

The only thing about this tour is the 5:45 am pick-up, which is a bit tiring, but you can sleep in the car 💤. The journey is quite long, so you can rest in the car. There are three attractions at the destination. The first, the glowworms, is a must-see and worth visiting. The second attraction is the Maori handicraft school, where you can also see New Zealand's native bird, the Kiwi. The third attraction is the sulfur eruption, which is also worth seeing and can make your skin look 20 years younger 👍🏾. Overall, it's quite comfortable. There's a car throughout the trip, and coffee shops for you to rest, have snacks, and use the restroom! The car itself can seat 11 people, so if there aren't too many people, it's comfortable. The guide and driver are the same person (GRANT); he clearly tells you what time to depart for each attraction and what time to meet! He also explains what's fun at each attraction. Additionally, he talks about the local scenery in the car 👍🏾. I actually think this Klook tour is good; it's a small group, so not too many people! It will be much more punctual!

Super fun tour! We had Dave as our guide and he was really efficient and knowledgeable about everything, and also brought us to spots that weren't part of the original tour since we had extra time! Dave also provided us bottled water and snacks and helped us take photos throughout the tour. Would love to travel with him again :)

¡Tour totalmente genial! Fuimos no solo a los lugares programados como la cueva de Waitomo, Te Puia y Rotorua, sino también a un puente colgante, alimentamos a un avestruz y comimos helado Tip Top. El conductor Jeff nos guio por Nueva Zelanda mientras conducía. El horario del tour no fue demasiado exigente. Al principio pensé que el precio del tour era bastante caro, pero definitivamente experimenté cosas valiosas.

I had a lovely tour with our tour guide Michael who was very engaged and friendly. He was knowledgeable about the culture and shared lots of interesting facts with us. The transfer to different sites was smooth and easy. The morning drive out to our first site was so beautiful as we were able to catch the sunrise. Out of the two places, my favourite was the glow worm caves - highly recommend!!! The limestone “cathedral” was a sight to remember and the glow worms were truly magical. No photos allowed until the end but was still able to catch some on camera. We learned a lot about Moari culture, how they live and respect the land. We were able to get some food on the way as well - a quick pie stop in the morning and also a cafe at Te Puia in the afternoon for a quick bite before the second tour started. Not too much traffic and we ended the tour on time, dropped off at the our different pick up spots. Overall, a great experience and grateful to Michael for the lovely chat the entire ride!

It was a long but very unique trip. I appreciate the driver, and the whole process was smooth from pick-up to drop-off. Join this if you are a solo traveler and want to experience cultures and nature outside Auckland.

Really good and informative guide and overall flow was really good. Although at times it was quite rushed because we had places to get to. Just a heads up. But was worth it as it is pretty difficult to finish this itinerary on your own.

The pick-up was at the meeting point as scheduled. Waitomo Cave is truly one of a kind with the glow worms, and it's a very surreal experience! I also got to see an actual Kiwi Bird at Te Puia. I wasn't fortunate enough to see much geyser activity, though. Overall, it was a worthwhile experience for the price and convenience.

My tour guide and driver was amazing. Very organised and gave lots of interesting and relevant information including historical, geographic and cultural. He was clear about where we were going, what to expect and where and how to meet up again. He made sure we were comfortable, had snacks and water if needed and negotiated comfort and other interesting stops too. The caves were amazing and the Rotorua visit was incredible. Both had well informed and excellent local guides. Rotorua was on my bucket list since a child and it didn't disappoint. There was lots of additional Maori cultural knowledge, history and customs shared as well. Thank you.

Coach/Driver Mike is very friendly and informative, providing us lots of information and brought us to a very good resto for lunch. The wormcave and te puia were worth to visit!
