Everything was good, food was delicious, chef was friendly and the team spoke a little English to explain what we ate and where it was sourced from. Small intimate setting of only 6-7 seats at the counter. Highly recommended if you’re in the Gion area!

We were seated at the bar right in front of the chef! It’s a really personal dining experience with the chef preparing the food right in front of you and explaining the dishes - he speaks some English too! The food was delicious too, and you get to keep the napkin and chopsticks as a souvenir! (they clean it for you)

It's easy to find on the main street. Each dish is carefully introduced, and since they knew we were tourists, they used pictures and text to explain. The ingredients are fresh, the cooking skills are excellent, and every dish is a delightful surprise.

Superb lunch! I was able to book this solo, which not many kaiseki takes reservation for one person on klook at least. Every dish they will explain the ingredient and what kind of fish they were presenting. The chef was very accommodating and he speaks some english. The sashimi was the most tender I’ve had, it’s been aged! I had the smaller set which was good enough for me. I probably would have hard time finishing the bigger set! Highly recommend and there’s numerous good restaurant around the street!

A small shop in Kyoto with friendly service, a comfortable environment, and fresh ingredients. The chef speaks a little English and patiently explains the ingredients and their origins, showing his dedication to cooking. If you understand Japanese, you'll gain an even clearer insight into his culinary arrangements. Highly recommended!

The head chef speaks English and introduces the ingredients used in each dish after it's served. While the price is a bit high, it's definitely worth experiencing a high-end Japanese kaiseki meal.

All the dishes were unique, delicious, and full of character. The interior atmosphere was clean, and thanks to the cheerful Japanese woman who spoke Korean well, we had an even more enjoyable time. I was a bit sad that my husband and son are introverted, so we couldn't converse more. I'm grateful that she didn't hesitate to look up the fish names in a book for us every time, as I didn't know them in English or Japanese. It took about 2 hours. We ate very well! ^^
