I signed up after watching a video by my favorite YouTuber (lol). I was guided by Mr. Nagatomo (TIEN-san), the same person from the video, and I had a great time from start to finish. The lunch had plenty of dishes and was very satisfying. Also, as noted in the warnings, plastic bottles are not allowed in Ha Long Bay, and since it was a hot day, I bought canned water several times on the boat, but it was expensive, so I highly recommend bringing your own drinks in a reusable bottle. I was taken to a Vietnamese sticky rice restaurant as part of the dinner-included plan, and it was delicious! I apologize for being selfish when everyone else had bun cha! Lol, it was a very good experience. Thank you very much.

As it was a Japanese-guided tour, I was able to receive explanations about the Halong Bay tour with an open mind. All the other tour participants were also very kind, and we had enjoyable conversations. The Vietnamese tour guide also worked very hard to explain things in Japanese, and his personality shone through. Thank you very much. The two-person sea kayak was quite difficult to paddle, so I might not have had much time to fully appreciate the scenery... lol. The Vietnamese food served on the boat was also delicious. The cave we landed on the island was cool inside and featured many impressive natural limestone formations! The bus ride to and from the destination was also comfortable, and it was great to be able to charge my mobile phone. Although it was a full-day tour, it was meaningful to be able to see the many unique rock formations.

The one-way trip to Ha Long Bay was about 3 hours, but it was easy because we were on a comfortable bus! There was also a restroom break at a service area along the way, which was reassuring. Our guide spoke fluent Japanese, so we always felt at ease, and it was great that they taught us various things like Vietnamese culture and the tipping system! It was also a nice touch that everyone received a bottle of water on the bus. The weather was good, and Ha Long Bay was incredibly beautiful. Numerous strange rock formations soared out of the magnificent sea, creating a scene straight out of a movie. We also entered a grotto, and the inside was very beautiful, an otherworldly space. All the seafood for lunch on the boat was delicious! For environmental reasons, bringing plastic bottled drinks onto the boat was prohibited. Water bottles were allowed. On the boat, you'll be offered drinks for a fee, but it's fine whether you buy them or not! Overall, I'm very glad I participated. If you come to Hanoi, I highly recommend joining this tour!

【Enjoyed Halong Bay even on a day trip!】In the morning, our guide, TIEN, picked us up on time. We were staying at a hotel near Hoan Kiem Lake, close to Hanoi's Old Quarter, so TIEN came directly to our lobby. The bus was spacious, and since everyone on board was Japanese, we felt very comfortable. We had one rest stop. We wore our Team Nagatomo IDs and did some shopping. My wife was delighted to buy some silk embroidery. Upon arriving at Halong Bay, we boarded a boat and lunch began. We shared a table with a couple from Tokyo and chatted all the way to our destination. Halong beer was cheap and delicious 🍻. The food was mainly seafood (it seems they can accommodate allergies if you inform them when booking; TIEN asked us about it on the bus). After seeing sights like the Fighting Cock Islets, we reached our first destination: sea kayaking 🚣‍♂️. TIEN recommended a bamboo boat, but we chose kayaking! Since we were already wearing our swimsuits 🩳, we decided to go for it as a travel memory. We got wet as soon as we got in, so we changed on the boat 🛳️ afterward. We had a relaxing time kayaking. Our second destination was Thien Cung Cave ⛰️, which was a mystical experience. We learned a lot about the cave as we walked through it. This tour was a wonderful opportunity to experience both the sea and mountain nature. On the way back, we enjoyed a Bun Cha dinner 🍽️ in the Old Quarter. Everything, including kayaking (or bamboo boat), the cave, and dinner, was included in the tour price, so we didn't have to worry about calculating dongs. A big thank you to our guide, TIEN! 😊

The bus was full on the day of the tour. Mr. Nagatomo, whom I had seen on YouTube, guided us. We departed from the Sheraton Hotel at 7:40 AM, and the bus stopped at several pickup points on the way to Ha Long Bay. Mr. Nagatomo constantly showed us his iPad on the bus, humorously introducing Vietnamese history and celebrities he had met. He talked a lot! The cruise was a very comfortable and wonderful experience. There were detailed explanations at the limestone caves, which made it enjoyable. The Vietnamese food on the boat was also delicious. We were impressed when they provided cold wet towels upon our return to the boat from the tour. For dinner, we could choose between "okowa" (steamed sticky rice) or "bun cha" in Hanoi city, and I think everyone chose bun cha. There was also a family who opted out of dinner to go to Aeon Mall on the way back, so they got off the bus. It was our first time participating in an overseas tour, and it was excellent.

It took about 3 hours from our hotel in Hanoi to Ha Long Bay, including a short break. We had a private boat charter for our group of 13 people. After setting sail, we enjoyed a cruise with drinks and a 10-course meal. During the meal, the boat traveled very slowly and there were almost no waves, so it hardly rocked at all. We were very impressed by our guide's explanations and stories, as well as their extensive knowledge and language skills. With their consideration for the participants, we were very satisfied to experience a tour that allowed us to fully enjoy the charm of Ha Long Bay. We would like to participate again if we have the opportunity.

It was a very fulfilling tour. Our tour guide, Tien (Mr. Nagatomo), kept us entertained! His Japanese was excellent, and he told us many fun stories on the bus, making it feel like a show. Halong Bay was hot and challenging, but I think it was worth experiencing despite the heat. Drinks are an extra charge, so I recommend bringing your own water bottle. My companion tried kayaking and managed it more smoothly than expected. It was a weekday, so there were few people, and it felt like a private tour, which was also great. For lunch, we had seafood on the boat, and there was more than enough food. Dinner was Bun Cha, which was also delicious. My only concern was that it would have been better if we could have contacted the guide in some way the day before. I felt a little anxious. Nevertheless, I would like to join Mr. Nagatomo's tour again next time.

The Halong Bay tour was a memory of a lifetime. Our guide, Nagatomo-san, kept us entertained throughout the journey with engaging talks using a tablet, so we never got bored. Furthermore, when there was a delay due to traffic congestion during pickup and drop-off, he courteously informed us in advance via a short message, which put us at ease. It was a highly satisfying tour that provided both "fun" and "peace of mind" throughout the day. Moreover, the price was very reasonable, and I felt it offered excellent value for money. Nagatomo-san, thank you very much. This is a wonderful experience that I can wholeheartedly recommend.
