Experiência de Meio Dia de Culinária Tailandesa na Chang Cooking School

They kindly picked us up from our hotel and allowed us to keep our luggage with them! The cooking class team was amazing, sweet, and also funny, hahaha. We made 3 main dishes and mango sticky rice for dessert! The preparation and dining area had air conditioning, and while the stove area only had a fan, it wasn't too hot. The main host took our photos and shared them with us :) The food we made was delicious! Thank you kaa +) Before we headed to the class, we stopped by a local market for 30 minutes on our own, but there wasn't much to see... and we weren't accompanied by a guide.

Glad that I booked this experience while in Chiang Mai because it’s a must-do here in Thailand. It’s a beginner-friendly activity since I'm not good at cooking.

I was worried about other cooking classes being fully booked or expensive, but this newly opened cooking class was satisfying in many ways. First, the professionalism of the instructors. Professional instructors guided us through an enjoyable cooking class in a great location. Second, the excellent venue. The atmosphere of the place is important, and it had a wonderful ambiance with well-equipped cooking facilities. Third, the class location. It was located in the heart of the Old Town, making it convenient for visiting other markets or moving around.

The four of us, two of us and two other students who spoke Chinese, were grouped together and assigned to a Chinese-speaking cooking instructor. The time spent shopping for ingredients, preparing, cooking, and eating was all arranged very smoothly. After cooking, the four of us shared the food and took photos together, which was a lot of fun. The instructor came from a restaurant background and taught very well; the food made following the instructor's steps was all delicious. The proprietress was very kind, and the classroom was also very clean. The overall experience was great, the price was not expensive, and the value for money was excellent!

I booked a cooking class yesterday for the next day with Klook which was paid and confirmed but the class was cancelled last night at 7.30pm by the school. The school asked me to reschedule but I can't as leaving Chiangmai the very next day. I asked for a refund from the school but they can't pay me because I don't have PayPal so after an hour was advised that Klook will refund me. I was told it takes 1-2 weeks for refund. Please be careful when you book through Klook as refunds may be difficult. Better to book with hotel and pay to them directly.
