Things to do in Shihfen

It was a very nice and pleasant experience. It's a sunny day, we went there with a tour bus which walked us to the store itself, then we got given the 4-colour lantern and provided with black calligraphy pen to write our wishes, each colour represent a different area of life, e.g. health and wealth etc. We wrote our lantern inside the shop before going outdoor. There are staff using our phones to taking photos and videos of us on the train track and gave us poses to take pictures of the different sides of the lantern.

I was on a solo tour, and the guide explained various things (in English and Taiwanese) and even made jokes, which made it a really fun tour. The guide was very passionate, and the time spent at each stop was just right. In the middle of the tour, there was an offer for bubble tea and ice cream. I tried the ice cream, but it had cilantro in it, so I threw half of it away. It was like an ice cream pie, and it did taste good. We took a bus to and from Jiufen, which cost 15 Taiwanese dollars. I’m a Thai traveler, and I went on this trip with two of my friends. Even though it was a large group tour, everything was well organized and we never felt uncomfortable or inconvenienced at all. Our tour guide, Tommy, was very friendly, helpful, and approachable. He explained the details of each place we visited clearly and thoroughly, and everything was easy to understand. The tour followed the schedule very well, while still giving us enough time at each stop to take photos, buy food, and shop for souvenirs without feeling rushed. Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Tommy as a tour guide, and I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking for a great experience!

the shifen water fall is the best , i wish we could have just skipped the cats and spend more tome in shifen water falls but over all its good! the tour guide let me borrow the umbrella

If you want great photos & videos for social media, definitely choose KEVIN CHANG. He is very skilled at photography & videography and captured lot of of amazing photos & videos for us, He never tires of capturing amazing clicks and voluntarily took a lot of photos. We enjoyed our day trip to Shifen, Jiufen and the Taiwanese pineapple pastry shop. Our guide, Jeff, was okay, but the tour felt a little rushed and we would have liked more time at each place. The driver was very friendly and Jeff, took good care of us throughout the trip. Although the time was limited, we still enjoyed the experience overall. Thank you for taking care of us!

I booked Klook for a day tour in Taiwan’s famous tourist spots for my family. Our tour guide is Xiao-Hei and he was PERFECT!! He made sure that the tour experience was great even if there was rain. He took a lot of beautiful pictures and was very kind to us. He was very knowledgeable in every place we went to and even shared the history and facts for each place we went to. We had fun listening to Xiao-Hei because he knew everything about Taiwan and what are the best stores we can buy from. I want to thank Xiao-Hei for giving my family and I the best tour experience since we had first timers in the group. Totally recommended if you are travelling with a big group of people and kids. Bubble was our tour guide and he provides a lot of information and historical references for us during the ride. He also recommended us the restaurants we can try for traditinal Taiwanese food when we were in Jifen, or else we would be lost. We had a great time and definitely recommend this for anyone who want to visit Jifen and Shifen.
