Fantastic 5.0
Our Takayama and Shirakawago tour was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Everything was well-organized and perfectly paced, giving us enough time to explore. Hao, our tour guide, was wonderful, warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. She made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable throughout the journey. We especially appreciated her thoughtful recommendations on what to eat and what to see in both Takayama and Shirakawago. Because of her guidance, we were able to experience the best of both destinations. Special thanks as well to Ishida, who drove us all the way with such care and professionalism. You could truly feel that our safety was his priority. On our way back to the bus, he even made iced duck for us before we get on the bus, such a sweet and thoughtful gesture that made the day even more memorable. We would happily do it again, maybe in another season to see Takayama and Shirakawago in a different light.

Takayama and Shirakawa-go Tour is a must try. This is, we think, is a very relaxed tour. The bus is so spacious and the seats are so comfy. We enjoyed the road trip. For the actual place, it's super worth it! A must visit. It's just slippery because it's winter but we think that winter is the best time to visit these places.

It was convenient to book the tour to Shirakawa-go. The tour guide arrived on time at the meeting point, and her instructions were generally clear on the time and meeting points for each destination.

I highly recommend this tour. Although the drive was a bit long, seeing the snow-covered Shirakawa-go village makes you temporarily forget the fatigue of the journey. Takayama Old Town has a lot of delicious food and many souvenirs to choose from. The itinerary is well-arranged, with an appropriate amount of time spent at each attraction. The tour guide (Jia Jia) is friendly and reminds you of and supplements travel information along the way. She recommends delicious restaurants or snacks, takes the group members to a fixed location, and reminds them of the boarding time before letting everyone explore freely. This is different from the usual guided tour, where you don't need to travel together as a group and the tour guide explains everything while leading the way. This way is more relaxed, free, and stress-free. The group members this time were also great. Everyone was very punctual when getting on and off the bus, and the itinerary was not delayed at all. It was a perfect day.

Very good ride, it is very worthwhile. unfortunately we had an accident on the track and we were a little late, but even so we could enjoy it a lot (if organizing you can do everything that the cities have to offer in your free time)

Fantastic 5.0
The time allotted at Ghibli Park was more than enough to explore the whole area, even with some lines, and still enjoy a proper meal. The meet-up point was easy to find, and the lunch bento was already prepared and handed out before boarding the bus, which was very convenient. Quick heads-up: there are no trash bins inside the park, so you’ll need to bring your trash with you until you’re back at Nagoya Station (bins for bottles and cans are available). On the tour day, what we visited after the park was Toyota Automobile Museum, where the guide shared car inspirations from Ghibli movies, making it fun to spot them. The time there was under an hour, so it felt a bit rushed. But it's still good overall!

This tour is so worth it! I went last year and tried to diy but I failed. I made sure that this year will be the year to visit Shirakawago and it did not disappoint. Altho the place was not fully covered by snow as they have already melted but the vibe is still there. The guide Helen was very informative and approachable. She recommended places to eat and where to go. The trip was comfortable and there was ample time to explore the areas. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Will also visit again during different seasons.

Tomioka is a dedicated and warm guide. It was a pleasure to talk with her. The time allotted to each stage was sufficient; I didn't feel rushed and was able to enjoy the charm of the wooden houses. We were lucky to have pleasant weather; it was truly superb.

Whole Experience to Kamikochi The trip to Kamikochi was truly wonderful, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Traveling from Nagoya took about 3.5 hours, and it was absolutely worth it. Along the way, our tour guide explained the entire itinerary in detail and even shared some great food recommendations that we must try while in Nagoya.
