Transport in New Taipei

Super convenient and worth it! The unlimited pass made getting around Taipei easy and hassle-free. No need to reload or worry about fares—just tap and go. Perfect for visiting multiple spots in a day, and pickup/redemption was quick. Great value for tourists exploring the city.

It's very easy and convenient to redeem the tickets. The bus terminal is connected to the Taipei main train station. The ride from Taipei to Jiaoxi is also very smooth and comfortable.

I had fun exploring Southern Taiwan with this 3 day pass. Very easy to use, it comes with a booklet that you'll get from the HSR counter. You can book your HSR in advance through the website, can even change your time of departure when you go to the counter. My accomodation is in Taipei and the day trips in Taichung and Tainan was just a breeze. HSR also provides free shuttle bus between HSR station to the main city, just research for the bus number. You have to go through the staff at the gates to pass through, they will inspect the booklet. I'll comeback to explore more of South Taiwan!

The driver dropped us off the nearest possible drop off for Jiufen and even coordinated with our return driver to pick us up in the same location. Very convenient specially if time is very limted.

Got the same driver, Marco, as our trip to Yilan, so having our own itinerary wasn't an issue. The weather for the day was the issue as it slowed all our plans down. In the end we still managed to get our "must-dos" in, except the sky lantern, but the rain was more the deciding factor on that. Marco was nice enough to find the easiest way to drop off and pick us up and Jiufen seeing that my leg was in an air-cast. As always great driver/tour guide/safety guide/photographer. We also took the same vehicle, and like before, had bottles of water provided. The car's temperature was also adjusted to a very comfortable temperature while it was quite chilly outside.

The bus arrived on time, the air conditioning worked very well and the journey was very pleasant. Very quick and easy checkin with the QR code. We weren't quite sure where to get off, but then we used Google Maps to find our way around once we arrived.

I recently used the Taiwan Airport Bus Transfer service, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. service: We have a very good driver/tour guide Alex Chang! No dull moments with him the entire time we were on tour, he knows even the short cut in Shifen Watefalls as we have a senior on a wheelchair with us and going to the waterfalls using the steps will be very hard. he made sure we enjoyed our activities and even help took some of our pictures. Would definitely book again soon as we go back to Taiwan.
