Thanks to our guide, we had the best trip ever! My parents are older and it was their first time visiting, but the guide meticulously checked to make sure they were comfortable and showed such thoughtful consideration, which we truly appreciated. It was sunny throughout our trip, but it started raining just as we were about to leave. The guide even waited for us, offering to hold an umbrella for that short walk! Our guide was incredibly kind! This time, I chartered a car for a day in Taiwan with my children and elderly mother! Our driver, Mr. Wang, picked us up at the hotel right on time and drove us safely from morning till night, covering the long round trip from Taipei to Taichung, including bathroom breaks. For lunch, Mr. Wang recommended an affordable and authentic Taiwanese restaurant, and he was very thoughtful, even giving us donuts along the way, guiding us to various places, and parking the car conveniently close. Thanks to him, both my children and mother said they had a wonderful time and were very satisfied! He truly did an excellent job with the long journey! He also explained various places to us, and I think it would be fantastic if Mr. Wang could drive us again if we visit Taiwan in the future!

Our driver arrived 15 minutes early. Our driver, 小楊 (Yang), always helped us get in and out of the car, which we really appreciated. I also forgot to include two locations in the Changhua itinerary I sent beforehand, but he accommodated them very well without any issue.
He even recommended a really delicious rou bao (肉包) near Lukang Longshan Temple—after tasting it, we ended up buying a whole box to eat at the hotel. Communication via LINE was smooth and easy. He also played great music during the drive; I honestly wish I knew his playlist.
We had a very pleasant and comfortable drive to and from Lukang. Highly recommended.

For the price of a massive bus tour, we got a 5-person small group. It saved us so much waiting time and we loved meeting new people!
We covered so much in one day: Yehliu Geopark (plus the cheapest souvenir shop!), Yin Yang Sea, Golden Waterfall, Jiufen Old Street, Shifen Waterfall, and sky lanterns at Shifen Old Street.
A huge shoutout to our guide/driver, Kevin! He was incredibly patient and accommodating, which was perfect since I was traveling with a senior citizen. He even went out of his way to take our photos.
It was a hot and tiring day, but New Taipei is amazing! Hotel pick-up was super convenient. At drop-off, Kevin didn't know our hotel (Hotel 6 - Wannien at Wan Nian Building) had car access and dropped us at the nearest station. It was totally okay though—we enjoyed walking the street afterwards and got boba!
Highly recommend booking this if you want to see a lot of spots comfortably!

I had an amazing experience with this day tour. Joseph is an excellent guide and very friendly. His explanation for everything is so detailed and clear. Do not think twice before booking this tour for breathtaking views. Make sure you are in comfortable walking shoes for the hike :)

We had a tour booked with A Wei and it was a wonderful experience. We were picked up directly from our hotel, which made the day very convenient and stress-free. His tour plan was very well organised, and he was punctual, friendly, and professional throughout the day. The itinerary covered Yehliu Geopark, Golden Waterfall, Jiufen Old Street, Cat Village, Shifen Waterfall, and the lantern experience.
We had a great chance to explore Yehliu Geopark and Jiufen Old Street, but unfortunately heavy rain started later in the day. Despite the weather, A Wei still took us to all the remaining spots and kindly showed us around as much as possible.
This was our first time in Taiwan, and we felt very welcomed and well looked after. We truly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend A Wei to anyone visiting Taiwan.

Even though it was advertised as a Korean speaking tour, Kevin was very attentive and caring towards non-korean speaking tourists like us. While it won't be 100%, he tries his best to make sure we get proper instructions and also provides sufficient context for us to appreciate the tour he is leading. Departure timing was good. We reached Featherdale slightly after 8am and we almost had the whole place to ourselves. The setting was intimate and you could choose between free feeding cups or AUD 26 off up close with Koala photoshoot. The feeding was an awesome experience for both kids and adults. We all loved it. Time allocated for all the scenic sights were just nice. We did not feel rushed during this tour. Do take the Scenic Tour option. It is really a fantastic experience. We took all 3 variants including a short trail through the rainforest.

this tour was worth every penny. depending on what time you book your tour, they will cater it to fit your day. We recommend booking the private tour because you’re able to also customize it how you want and their private tours are in English. Stephen was our tour guide. he was patient when we were slower and had a lot of knowledge that he shared with us about each site. He also had great recommendations and never let us forget any of our items. We recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see the northern part of Taiwan, but doesn’t want to be stressed with how to get there and what to do.
