New Taipei Chartered Car One-Day Tour: Pingxi / Shiding Thousand Island Lake / Wulai (Departing from Taipei)

such a lovely time spent with Paul today! the itinerary was pre selected and the journey was always smooth. we enjoyed our time visiting the landmarks, hiking (this was really such a highlight), and learning about the various histories of each place that we had visited. he also made sure that the car was clean, comfortable and that the air conditioner was at a good level (such a hot day in Taiwan today!). this place is less frequented by tourists but I love that the Taiwan hospitality shines right through regardless. Will recommend Paul again and again!

Our driver, James, introduced the area along the way, drove at a moderate and safe speed, and recommended a simple restaurant for lunch and a night market for dinner! He was talkative and friendly, making it a happy and fulfilling day! There were four of us, and we booked the 1-8 person plan, but the car only had 4 seats, and the space for luggage in the back was wasted, making it a bit crowded. This is a point deduction.

Jimmy was an amazing driver who take us to key lookout points to see Thousand Island Lakes. We also went to Pinglin old street where he helped us order local food for lunch. Also visited Shifen. He was really great and cared to make sure we were taken care of. The day trip was the highlight of our trip. I had booked a 9 seater van but got a 5 seater. I contacted the provider and Klook and received refund. I would recommend this company (MyProGuide).

We had a great driver/tour guide, he was very accomodating and flexible and made some great recommendations over the day.

I enjoyed the trip because I met a guide driver who was fluent in Korean. The weather was good, and the comfortable driving maximized my travel satisfaction.

The weather is so hot, the whole family wants to travel without chartering a car. The driver brother Kenny is very punctual, and he is very good at communicating and cooperating if we need to change the itinerary temporarily. His attitude has always been gentle and friendly, allowing us to complete the trip smoothly. It is worth recommending ! Next time I will charter a car!

Jason was an exceptional guide. His 20 years of experience was evident. He was kind, professional and very knowledgeable, a great driver and someone we would recommend for families or couples.

I only got the driver information in the evening the day before the trip. I was a little worried at first, but luckily I contacted him smoothly! Driver Chen was very friendly and chatty. He was familiar with the itinerary and was very cooperative in changing the itinerary! Thank you for accompanying us to go shopping in the mountains. The car is very comfortable and safe to drive.
