Fantastic 5.0
My hubby and daughter and I had a great time here. The setting is intimate with the 3 of us and the instructor. We choose the colors for our project and the thread color. We hammered a personalized word/initial onto the leather and we learned to stitch our project. The instructor did the hardware and folding for my mini bag. It was a great experience and we took home a fun, useful souvenir.

I made a mosaic lamp globe and it took me about 3.5 hours -- but that's because I went full fancy with my color choices. If you keep it simple, you can absolutely finish faster. Either way, this is one of the best activity bookings I've made. as a solo traveler I had the entire time slot to myself, which meant zero rushing and unlimited Turkish tea. The instructor was attentive without being overbearing, and the whole experience was genuinely relaxing and fun. I was so into it that I seriously considered doing a second one. I'm a full-time traveler and didn't plan to keep anything bulky -- then I saw how mine turned out and immediately started figuring out how to pack it. That should tell you everything. Highly recommend, rain day or shine.

The owner is very kind and gentle, and even helps you take some beautiful photos of your work! It's perfectly fine to come alone; you won't feel awkward. The overall experience was great, making a DIY ring doesn't take too much time, and the quality is very high. It's definitely worth a visit! If I have the chance again, I'll certainly come back.

went for the hand-brewing experience and learnt a lot! the instructor was knowledgeable, friendly, and encouraging throughout the handbrew techniques session. she was also generous in sharing insights on the tea flavour wheel and providing in-depth information about the different types of taiwanese tea, making the experience both educational and enjoyable!

This was my first time making a ceramic cup by hand. The instructor was very kind and communicative about the design. After personally demonstrating each step, I was able to create my own piece. The instructor immediately provided assistance with any questions I had during the process and also helped refine the work to make it even better! I'm very satisfied with the semi-finished product, and it gave me, a beginner making a cup for the first time, a great sense of accomplishment! I'm looking forward to receiving the finished product ❤️

Cleanliness: Clean Breakfast: The breakfast menu is changed regularly, so returning guests can experience something new and thoughtful each time. Service: During this stay, I noticed a shortage of staff, but everyone was very friendly. The only minor drawback was that the cold water for the hot springs was 15 degrees Celsius, and the staff couldn't adjust it immediately.

by far the highest CP value hotel ive stayed in taichung. while location isnt exactly easy to get to if u plan to do intercity day trips, it is FANTASTIC if you want to visit feng jia night market (a mere 5 minute away!!!). that said chances are u will stay in and have a blast rather than go out tbh. way too many stuff to do here

This time, we booked a deluxe double room. Every staff member at the hotel was incredibly friendly and thoughtful. Since it was a weekday, they surprised us with an upgrade to the Presidential Suite during check-in! We were so lucky to experience this type of room for the first time; it was unexpectedly spacious and we were absolutely thrilled. The room even had a hidden mission with small rewards, which was really fun! 😁 There's also a complimentary shuttle service that requires advance booking.

What to know before visiting Taichung

What to expect in Taichung

Taichung’s Klook bookings are led by theme parks, events and shows, massages, playgrounds and tours, so the city suits visitors after family-friendly attractions, live entertainment and leisurely experiences. Demand rises and falls through the year, with clear busy spells in spring and quieter periods in late summer and early autumn.

When to visit and how prices move

April is the busiest month on Klook, while August shows the weakest booking demand. Prices drift up and down across the year: Klook data show October typically as the priciest month, and March typically the cheapest. Travelers seeking lower prices and smaller crowds should consider March and the late-summer trough around August–September; those after the full peak-season atmosphere will find April the most bustling. Note that prices and demand don’t always move in lockstep here—October is typically expensive even though it isn’t the absolute peak in bookings.

Tips for travellers from the United States

Most visitors from the United States book about a week in advance, with many last-minute options available within a couple of days, so you can be flexible if your trip is short. If you’re travelling in April (the busiest month), plan and lock in popular experiences earlier—outside peak months you can often book closer to your travel dates. Use Klook to compare timing and options so you can pick quieter times or better value depending on your priorities.
