Things to do in Taipei

Overall, it was a fun experience at the Maokong Gondola and Taipei Zoo. However, the instructions were not very clear, so we were not able to fully maximize our use of the gondola. We were also quite short on time, which is why we didn’t get to explore the zoo properly. If given the chance to visit again, I would definitely focus on the zoo first to make the experience more worthwhile.

It was a great experience! Kelly was sooo nice and great at being our tour guide. She even helped us buy the super delicious stuffed chicken, sesame ice cream and boba tea, and made our sky lantern experience smooth and wonderful! Thank you Kelly and to the bus driver for a safe and wonderful trip!

We used the Korean audio guide at the National Palace Museum, and I think other languages would be the same way, entering numbers... but there were many things without numbers, and the famous Dongpo pork wasn't there. The cabbage was on display, but there was no number written on it, but my daughter accidentally pressed 333 and the explanation came on, haha. If you just walk by without an explanation, you wouldn't know what it is, so we used the audio guide, but it wasn't very helpful and it was hard to concentrate. It would be more convenient and faster to look at it with a translator.

One of the highlights of my trip! I got to see the adorable little penguins and ride the cable car, which was such a fun experience. The place is quite big, so it’s best to set aside a whole day to explore all the areas. The animals looked well cared for, and the staff were all kind and welcoming. I’ll definitely visit again when I come back!

Taiwan's weather is very unpredictable, and I was worried that heavy fog might prevent me from going, so I didn't make a reservation in advance. I had planned to go to Xiangshan Lookout, but it rained so much that I quickly booked a different observatory instead. I had intended to enter at 8 PM, but after dinner, I had some free time, so I arrived about an hour early. They allowed me to change my entry time once, which was great! Even though it was a weekday, there were so many people. There were package tour groups and school trips, and I had mistakenly thought it would be quiet on a weekday. We entered at 7 PM and waited about 30 minutes for the elevator to go up. Even though it was raining, there was no fog, so we enjoyed the night view. They also gave out discount coupons for the cafe, but there was no place to sit and eat, so I just left without using it. Many people were sitting on the floor, drinking beverages, and enjoying the night view.

I can't describe how much I like and look forward to Mika Ninagawa's exhibition. It's not just because of the visual effects of the photos, but really, after walking in, that moment, my heart skips a beat. She's not using the pictures to speak, she's directly pouring emotions into your eyes. At that moment, I felt like little elves were jumping in my eyes. It's a state where the vision is awakened and the senses come alive.

it was a great experience. for the price paid, it is definitely worth it. the only issue is the child has to be of minimally 90cm to ride on some of the rides. I will definitely come again. there are lockers and shower facilities.

The process involves scanning the QR code to get a number, with entry starting at 10:00 AM in sequential order based on the numbers called. It is recommended to purchase tickets on Klook in advance, as it's usually more cost-effective than buying on-site and reduces the risk of queuing. 2. The Truth About Free Plush Toys The sales area has a sign indicating that the lion dance plush toy is "only for gifting, not for sale." It's actually part of a vacuum cleaner promotion. If you don't have a need for a home cleaning upgrade, it's recommended to politely decline and leave to avoid disrupting your itinerary. 3. Key Points About the Token System Feeding the dinosaurs, riding the dinosaurs, and the inflatable playground all require tokens. The inflatable playground sessions are 25 minutes each, and socks are required for entry. You will not be able to participate without socks. It is recommended to purchase enough tokens at once to avoid wasting time going back and forth to replenish them. 4. Parking and Basic Facilities Navigating to the Guandu Riverside Nature Park surface parking lot is the most convenient option. It costs NT$50 per entry on weekdays and NT$30 per hour on weekends/holidays. There are no restrooms or food/drinks allowed inside the exhibition area. Portable toilets are available at the entrance. A hand stamp is required for re-entry. 5. Replenishment Recommendations The container market at the entrance has a nice view, but the prices are relatively high. If you only need to replenish water, the vending machines next to it are a more economical option. Overall Assessment The park area is not large, but the dinosaur installations are concentrated, making for great photo opportunities and providing ample physical activity for children. It's a parent-child outing that is short on time but significant in impact. Mastering the four key aspects of arriving early, scanning the QR code first, preparing tokens, and having socks ready will make the overall experience smoother. As a huge fan of Shin-chan, the "Play! Time-Traveling Adventure" interactive exhibition was incredibly satisfying! The exhibition space is two floors and nearly 400 pings (approximately 13,223 square feet), so it's very spacious and comfortable to explore. It recreates so many classic scenes from the manga and movies, and every corner is photogenic and full of nostalgic memories! The best part is the interactive game design. I highly recommend downloading the exclusive app, which allows you to become a "time-traveling rescuer" to solve puzzles and collect characters, making the whole experience more fun and engaging! Both adults and children can have a great time. There are also many exclusive limited-edition merchandise items on site, which will definitely make you want to spend all your money. Overall, it's a very well-made exhibition that is definitely worth a second visit! Highly recommended to all Crayon Shin-chan fans!
