Rail pass is easy to use. For reserved seat it easy to book/change timing thru ticketing machine or thru ticketing counter during operating hours. You may obtain the JR timetable from the JR counter.

JAPAN IS 🩷 Having this pass (Japan Rail Pass) is worth it. If you're planning to wander all over Japan you must acquire this pass. I''ve been to Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya, Sapporo and Tokyo all included especially the Shinkansen. This was my second visit in Japan and I think if ever I will back again will acquire the same pass if I need to travel all over the county (Japan).

This is my 3rd time purchasing JR Rail passes via Klook. The 1st time was the 14-days whole Japan Rail Pass and the 2nd time was the 5-days JR Hokkaido Rail Pass. This time round I booked in advance on the JR-East Ticketing website all the seat reservations for the shinkansens and limited express trains before leaving for Japan. Collected my JR Rail Pass and the tickets for all the reserved seats which I have reserved online in advance at the Midori-no Madoguchi office located at the basement of New Chitose Airport. I started using the JR East-South Hokkaido Rail Pass from 11 to 16 May 2025 after using the 5-days JR Hokkaido Rail Pass from 6 to 10 May 2025.

Purchasing tickets on the Klook platform is very convenient. You can exchange tickets and reserve seats at the JR New Chitose Airport. If you plan to visit Noboribetsu and Otaru, this pass is definitely worth the price. Highly recommended!

At first, we were quite worried as no confirmation email has been received from the provider. hence, we contacted Klook CS for help and finally received the contact from the driver the day before the trip. The driver Peter is nice and even arrived in hotel earlier to wait us. He provided good recommendations to the spots and restaurants. When travelling to the Tomita Garden, he even drove us to a spot to have a toilet break. quite considerate. He also lend us umbrella for us to take pics and visit the spots. When returning to Sapporo, he was helpful and flexible and willing to drive us to the Torridon, a local sushi shop, instead of the original Sapporo station.

This pass allows you to travel quickly to tourist spots in southern Hokkaido such as Sapporo, Hakodate, and other important places, as well as to the northern part of Honshu such as Aomori, Morioka, Akita, and Sendai to see all the stations. It's really great!

The Driver was the best. His English was really good and there was no problem in communication at all. We accidentally left our bag on the seat, but only realized that the day after. The Driver brought it back to the hotel absolutely free the next day. he really went above and beyond. It really made us feel safe and at home during our stay

Our driver/guide was a Japanese national named Yuuki. He brought us to Furano and Biei as customized tour. Although his English was not fluent he can express a little bit of English enough for us to understand each other. What was special about Yuuki was that his being a very good photographer. He took a lot of our photos and we appreciated this a lot. He brought us to the Farm Tomita and we were able to try the famous melons and lavander ice cream. Inside the farm, he also drove us around the fields when we rented the private cart. after furano, we also went to Biei to see the famous Blue Pond and Shirahige Falls. Yuuki also was an excellent driver and brought us back safely to Sapporo.
