Fantastic 5.0
we started our journey at 5am. The guide was slightly late but was ok. The journey was pleased. The guide recommended us to take a boat ride before heading up to Tagaytay hill. the ride was a bit pricey but still acceptable. The guide was informative and flexible. was a pleasant trip overall

Meet up was at Starbucks One E-Com Center. The driver picked us up on time. On the way to Tagaytay, my cousin felt unwell in the car and threw up a little, but the driver was very nice about it and even cleaned the mess for us. The trip went really well and we enjoyed it a lot. We skipped some places on the itinerary because after lunch we all felt exhausted and just wanted to rest and head home. Other than that, everything went smoothly. Kudos to the driver — I didn’t catch his name, but he was very kind 👍

The hike was really beautiful! Unfortunately, our tour wasn't booked enough, so it didn't take place, but we were contacted and offered 3 alternative options. One of them was that we could easily join another organization without any extra effort or cost. We would describe the hike itself as more moderate than easy. The path is narrow, has many tripping hazards, and drops off steeply to the right and left, so you definitely don't want to fall. It's especially difficult since you start at night and therefore can't see as well with a flashlight as during the day. Near the summit, there were many short sections that were more like climbing than hiking. Since I currently have a shoulder injury, it was a real challenge for me and involved pain. However, the difficulties were worth it because the view was beautiful! I would definitely recommend the tour, but more for non-beginners or rather fit people. :)

For dinner, the rice was a bit undercooked, and the pork in the Sinigang was still tough, so I rate the food 5/10 for dinner. Breakfast: 10/10 Hotel location: 10/10 Cleanliness: 10/10 Service: 10/10, but overall the experience is very good ☺️😍 Transport access: 10/10

The place is super nice, and we enjoyed the stay. What you see is what you get. No hassle upon check-in and very accessible. Recommendation: Hope you maintain the window's clearness so it's still picture-perfect even when closed (it's cold when open). Thank you 😊

We loved how this hotel is pet friendly! We also loved the location which is right beside Robinsons Tagaytay, walking distance to Sky Ranch, and right in front of an array of restaurants overlooking Taal Lake. The rooms were clean and the hotel is elegant. We wished there could be more selections for the breakfast buffet, but the dishes were delicious and complete, from breads to salads to eggs to fruits to ulams and pastries. We highly recommend staying in this hotel.

We had an incredibly relaxing 1-night stay at Escala Tagaygay to celebrate my husband's birthday! From the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful. Our room was clean and comfortable, featuring a cozy balcony view. They even surprised my husband with a sweet complimentary birthday cake slice on our table, which made his day extra special! breakfast: ⚠️Quick Tip for Guests: Just a heads-up regarding the breakfast buffet. The restaurant has a strict dress code and does not allow sleeping clothes or pajamas in the dining area. Make sure to change into casual attire before heading down for breakfast so you don't run into any issues!

What to know before visiting Tagaytay

Quick Tagaytay snapshot and what people book

Tagaytay is a short-break destination known for outdoor activities and family-friendly attractions. Klook bookings show the biggest demand comes for theme parks, followed by zoos & aquariums and water activities, so the year cycles around weekend getaways and day trips.

Best times to visit and how prices change

Demand peaks in February while October sees the lightest booking activity, and demand tapers off through the second half of the year into October. Prices on Klook stay mostly steady across the year, with a typical dip in May making it the usually cheapest month and July showing up as the priciest month in past bookings. If you want smaller crowds and generally lower prices, consider May or the quieter shoulder months around August–October; for the lively, peak-season atmosphere aim for February when visitor numbers are highest. Note that price and demand largely move independently here: demand spikes in February but prices are broadly flat except for the small May dip.

Tips for travellers from the Philippines

Most visitors from the Philippines book very close to travel dates—Klook data shows typical bookings happen on the day of travel—so Tagaytay is well suited to spontaneous short trips. If you plan to go in February or other busy weekends, consider locking in key experiences early; for off-peak months you can often decide at the last minute. Use Klook to compare availability for theme parks and water activities and grab convenient options quickly.
