Fantastic 5.0
For dinner, the rice was a bit undercooked, and the pork in the Sinigang was still tough, so I rate the food 5/10 for dinner. Breakfast: 10/10 Hotel location: 10/10 Cleanliness: 10/10 Service: 10/10, but overall the experience is very good ☺️😍 Transport access: 10/10

The place is super nice, and we enjoyed the stay. What you see is what you get. No hassle upon check-in and very accessible. Recommendation: Hope you maintain the window's clearness so it's still picture-perfect even when closed (it's cold when open). Thank you 😊

We loved how this hotel is pet friendly! We also loved the location which is right beside Robinsons Tagaytay, walking distance to Sky Ranch, and right in front of an array of restaurants overlooking Taal Lake. The rooms were clean and the hotel is elegant. We wished there could be more selections for the breakfast buffet, but the dishes were delicious and complete, from breads to salads to eggs to fruits to ulams and pastries. We highly recommend staying in this hotel.

Fantastic 5.0
We had an incredibly relaxing 1-night stay at Escala Tagaygay to celebrate my husband's birthday! From the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful. Our room was clean and comfortable, featuring a cozy balcony view. They even surprised my husband with a sweet complimentary birthday cake slice on our table, which made his day extra special! breakfast: ⚠️Quick Tip for Guests: Just a heads-up regarding the breakfast buffet. The restaurant has a strict dress code and does not allow sleeping clothes or pajamas in the dining area. Make sure to change into casual attire before heading down for breakfast so you don't run into any issues!

We had an excellent stay! From check-in to check out, everything was smooth and enjoyable. The hotel is modern, elegant, and very well maintained. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The cleanliness throughout the property was impressive and added to the overall comfort of our experience. The staff were one of the highlights of our stay. Everyone we encountered was warm, welcoming, courteous, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their genuine hospitality made us feel at home and truly enhanced our visit. The location is very convenient, with easy access to popular restaurants, cafés, and attractions around Tagaytay. We also enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. 10/10 For me! It’s our first time to stay in Hotel Kimberly because of my son’s 4th birthday. They gave us a complimentary b-day greeting!! A lot of activities, Outdoor & Indoor playground. There’s a pool, animal encounters, and a lot. Also, they will knock the door around 7-8pm to give us Cookies & Fresh Milk for kids before bed time. The Wifi is Perfectly fine!! 🛜💚Also, we have infant and we can request for a baby crib with no charge!! super convenient. My favorite part was the Breakfast buffet. My hubby and I enjoyed the breakfast even our infant loved the Lugaw. The Bathroom is very Clean as well. We enjoyed the Bathtub 🥰The staff also nice and helpful. Well surely back!!! Thank you so much Hotel Kimberly. Worth it Kids friendly hotel 😇

We love our stay but we requested transfer to Ridge 3 where all the amenities are located for an additional fee. You cannot choose the rooms for ridge 3 in any booking site, I was told you need to call to be able to book in Ridge 3. The food in La cresta is suprisingly good and cheap. Also bowling, ktv and billiards are not free and with additional fee, meaning we spent a lot to enjoy our stay. Hehe

We had a wonderful stay at Taal Vista Hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel feels luxurious yet warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The food was excellent, with a great variety of delicious options, and the cleanliness throughout the property was impeccable. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is also ideal very accessible and close to attractions, restaurants, and shops. The breathtaking view of Taal Volcano made our stay even more memorable. What truly stood out was the exceptional staff. Every team member we encountered was welcoming, friendly, courteous, and attentive, always going the extra mile to make us feel valued and comfortable. Their genuine hospitality added a special touch to our experience. Overall, Taal Vista Hotel offers luxury, comfort, excellent food, outstanding service, and spectacular views. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning soon!

More about Tagaytay hotels

What staying in Tagaytay feels like

Stays in Tagaytay span a wide price range — the top luxury rates sit roughly 7.8 times above the most affordable economy options — so you can pick anything from budget basics to full-service indulgence. The best balance between cost and comfort tends to be in the premium tier, which offers noticeably better value than the cheaper classes without jumping to the highest price bracket.

How the hotel classes compare and who they suit

Economy rooms are the most affordable option and suit travellers focused on keeping costs low while prioritising essentials. Standard rooms step up from economy with more space or comfort for a modest additional outlay, making them sensible for couples or small families on a mid-range budget. Premium is the category that delivers the clearest value: it sits well above standard in quality but remains significantly cheaper than the top end, so it’s ideal for travellers who want extra comfort without paying luxury rates. The biggest price jump comes when moving from premium to luxury, which is where travellers trade clear savings for a noticeably more upscale experience.

When travellers from the Philippines should book

Rooms in Tagaytay are typically booked about five days in advance, so plans can remain fairly flexible but it’s wise to lock in a room if you have fixed dates. The priciest month is July and the cheapest month is November; November is the best fit for a budget-led trip since rates are noticeably lower then.
