Things to do in Chiang Mai Province

Four coaches for nine participants is quite good. Jacky, who I met this time, was enthusiastic and made sure I had a great time even though I was traveling alone. Before you depart, you can pay their accompanying photographer $300 per person, and at the end, they'll give you some photos and videos. You can also tell the photographer along the way if you'd like to take pictures.

Safe, exciting, and fun. The entire arrangement, from pickup to explanation and gearing up, was quick and efficient. The ziplines, designed with care, progressed from short to long. The humorous guides skillfully filmed each participant on the zipline, creating precious memories. If I have the chance to visit Chiang Mai again, I will definitely do the zipline again. The most thoughtful touch was providing each person with a small pouch to put their phone in. The buffet lunch was also quite good.

This was a truly great experience. Nene was our teacher and she did a great job explaining everything, from the use of all ingredients and why we have to cook at the temperature we do. And honestly the food we learned to cook here might have been some of the best Thai food I have had while in Thailand.

The cooking class experience was excellent. The market tour guide explained everything very clearly, and our instructor, Mai, was great at creating a fun atmosphere, so everyone had a wonderful time. The food portions were very generous; I recommend bringing a food container to take the dessert back to your hotel to enjoy at your leisure. Also, it's definitely worth paying extra for the air-conditioned room because there are mosquitoes outdoors, and it gets a bit warm after cooking. Enjoying the food in an air-conditioned room is the smart choice! The only downside was that the transfer vehicle didn't have air conditioning, and the staff kept taking photos of us but never shared them. I tried contacting them via email and Facebook Messenger, but received no response. I had assumed that since the staff were taking so many pictures, I didn't need to take many of my family for souvenirs, and now I regret not having those photos. It's a real shame that I can't retrieve them!

The overall experience was fantastic! The general itinerary went like this: At 8:30 AM, the driver arrived at the hotel on time to pick us up. Along the way, we conveniently picked up other fellow travelers. Our first stop was Sticky Waterfalls (Bua Tong Waterfalls) to play in the water. The mountain forest was nice and cool, and it was a great spot for taking photos. Next, we headed to the New Elephant Home sanctuary. We got to prepare food for the elephants with our own hands, feed them up close, and bathe them. Finally, there was about 30 minutes of bamboo rafting. Our tour guide, Dum, was exceptionally gentle and attentive. With a wealth of knowledge, she explained the habits and stories of the elephants. She patiently answered any questions we had, looked after everyone throughout the whole trip, and reminded us of safety precautions. She even actively helped us find good angles for taking photos. Our driver was smooth behind the wheel and took great care of us the entire time. We felt completely at ease going up and down the mountain, maximizing our experience. Lunch included a simple Thai buffet. The flavors tasted very much like home-cooked meals, and there was plenty to keep us full. In the afternoon, we experienced bamboo rafting, leisurely floating downstream. Both banks were surrounded by lush green mountain forests. The overall pace of the trip was not rushed and wasn't tiring at all. It's a very relaxing one-day nature tour in Chiang Mai.

The driver was very nice, and the overall trip was reliable. The Sticky Waterfalls are located in a forest park in Northern Thailand. The rocks of the waterfall are grayish-white with a bluish tint, which is truly amazing! The water is cool, and you can interact closely with nature as you climb up!

We had a great time on our Chiang Rai day tour! 🩵 The trip was well-organized, enjoyable, and very informative. Our guide (Raine) was friendly and knowledgeable, and we learned a lot about the history and culture of each place we visited. The temples were beautiful, and everything was explained clearly without feeling rushed. Overall, it was a memorable experience and definitely worth it. Highly recommended! ✨
