Fantastic 5.0
We were truly amazed as soon as we entered the exhibition. Every dinosaur was incredibly lifelike, and the staff's dedicated performances created a tense and thrilling atmosphere. My kids were screaming with excitement the whole time; the experience was absolutely fantastic! I genuinely recommend visiting after midday when the crowds are smaller, making for a more enjoyable and higher-quality visit. It's a place both adults and children will absolutely love!

We hadn't originally planned to visit this aquarium, but when my daughter saw it while we were shopping at Siam Paragon, she immediately said she wanted to go. It was quick and easy to buy tickets on Klook, and then we were able to go right in. I initially didn't have high expectations for an aquarium inside a department store, but after our visit, everyone in our family was incredibly impressed. We were all amazed by this aquarium; not only did it have many fish we hadn't seen in other large aquariums, but it also had the most sharks I've ever seen. The overall variety was excellent, and the design was fantastic. We loved it so much that we even bought photos, which turned out great. It ended up being our favorite unplanned stop on our trip to Thailand!

Celebrated my mom’s birthday in this cruise. It has been an amazing experience. My mom is so happy which made it all worth it. We were given front seats in the deck area. The food is nothing fancy but tastes delicious. The performers are entertaining making everyone dance on their feet. The views are magnificent as well. A must try experience when in Bangkok.

My first booking got canceled because of maintenance, but I still went anyway—and to my surprise, it was open! 😂 I booked on Klook on the spot since it was cheaper, and redemption was super smooth. There was a long line for walk-ins, but I got to skip it and went straight up. Definitely worth it, and I’d book it again the next time I’m in Thailand!

We had a magnificent day at Safari World with the family. We enjoyed every moment. Everything was perfect: the organization, the visit, and the excellent meal. A big THANK YOU to the best guide, CHOPIN, who made this activity exceptional with her patience, attentiveness, and kindness. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful Chao Phraya Sunset Dinner Cruise experience! The views along the river were absolutely beautiful, especially during sunset. The atmosphere was relaxing, the live entertainment was enjoyable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was good, with a nice variety of dishes. The only thing we noticed was that there was no sashimi. We're not sure if it was unavailable that day or if it's only served during the evening dinner cruise. Overall, it was still a memorable experience and definitely worth trying. Highly recommended!

Fantastic introduction to Muay Thai boxing. The multimedia presentation gives great background on the history of the sport, and the fights themselves are real, raw, and exciting. Be aware the stadium has very large steps. If you have mobility or balance issues you may need help getting to your seat—I did—but the staff were very helpful and attendants are everywhere. Throughout the night they walk around taking food and drink orders, which makes it very easy to relax and enjoy the fights. The event starts around 7 PM and runs until about 10 PM. Comfortable seating, authentic fights, and a great atmosphere. We took a Grab to the stadium and back home afterward, which made getting there simple.

Fantastic 5.0
Our guide, Kusuma, spoke excellent Japanese and provided very clear explanations. Both the Railway Market and the Floating Market had their own historical backgrounds, and I gained a good understanding of the differences between the past and present, as well as the feelings of the people living there. I realized that seeing things after receiving an explanation is completely different from just looking at them. Kusuma also informed us in advance about the items sold and their prices. At the Railway Market, she helped us secure photo spots so we wouldn't be overshadowed by taller foreigners, allowing us to take many great pictures. Kusuma even took photos for us herself, so we have many family pictures and wonderful memories. The tour ran from about 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, covering the Railway Market, Floating Market, lunch (at our own expense), and Buffalo Cafe (at our own expense). The Floating Market boats don't stop unless you tell the driver, and it wasn't really set up for shopping, so the Railway Market is better if you want to buy souvenirs. We also had about 20 minutes of free time. For lunch, Kusuma reserved a restaurant that supposedly had the only air conditioning, where we enjoyed delicious Pad Thai and fried rice for about 160 baht. About 200 baht per person, including a drink, would be sufficient. If we couldn't finish our drinks, they provided a free carry bag. At the Buffalo Cafe, we had delicious ice cream for 69 baht. There were various flavors, and we chose coconut milk, blueberry yogurt, and passion fruit sorbet. The 90 baht cakes also looked delicious. The only reason I rated the transfer quality 4 stars is because the air conditioning in the car was weak, making it a bit hot. While I don't like it to be too cold, the air from the AC was lukewarm and weak, so it was a little warm. Overall, I wouldn't say it was particularly cost-effective (I'd be happy if it were a bit cheaper), but considering we had a Japanese-speaking guide in the suburbs, who also secured our dining spots, and we could leave everything to her, I was very satisfied. My family also said it was excellent, which made me happy. If you're planning a trip to Thailand but haven't finalized your itinerary, I highly recommend this tour. You'll experience a different atmosphere from Bangkok. Besides the tour, Kusuma shared many insights that only locals would know, such as Thai language and schools, and our conversations were very enjoyable. Thank you so much for a truly memorable and fun time!

What to know before visiting Bangkok

Top Attractions in Bangkok City, Thailand

The Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew

When you visit Bangkok, the Grand Palace is a must-see. It’s the city’s most famous landmark, home to Wat Phra Kaew, or the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. The golden roofs and detailed Thai architecture show Bangkok’s royal history and rich cultural heritage.

Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn)

Across the Chao Phraya River from the Grand Palace, Wat Arun is one of the most beautiful temples in Bangkok. You can climb its tall central tower for amazing city views, especially during sunrise or sunset when the temple glows in the light.

Chatuchak Weekend Market

Shop like a local at Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok’s most famous shopping spots. With thousands of stalls, you’ll find clothes, art, plants, and souvenirs. Don’t forget to try the local street food, from mango sticky rice to coconut ice cream.

Khao San Road

For a taste of Bangkok’s nightlife, head to Khao San Road. The street is filled with bars, live music, and food stalls that stay open late. It’s also a nice place to meet other travelers and experience Bangkok’s energetic atmosphere.

Siam Paragon and MBK Center

In Bangkok’s city center, Siam Paragon and MBK Center are two of the largest shopping malls. You’ll find fashion stores, restaurants, and even aquariums inside. It’s the perfect spot to cool off, shop, and enjoy modern Bangkok life.

Tips before visiting Bangkok

1. Stay Connected with an eSIM

Before arriving in Bangkok, set up a Thailand eSIM so you can easily use maps, translation apps, and rideshare services like Grab. You can buy one online before your trip or at Bangkok International Airport. Having internet access makes getting around the Bangkok metropolis much easier.

2. Dress Code at Religious Sites

When visiting Bangkok’s temples, like the Grand Palace or Wat Pho, you must dress modestly. Cover your shoulders and knees, and avoid sleeveless tops or short skirts. Respecting the dress code shows appreciation for Thai culture and local traditions.

3. Greeting Customs

The traditional Thai greeting is the wai, you press your palms together and give a small bow. You’ll often see this gesture when meeting locals or thanking someone in Bangkok. It’s a polite and respectful way to connect with people during your visit.

4. Tipping Practices

Tipping isn’t required in Bangkok, but it’s always appreciated. Leave small change for good service at restaurants, hotels, or taxis. Even a small tip shows gratitude and helps support the friendly service culture in Bangkok.

5. Market Haggling

Shopping at places like Chatuchak Weekend Market or Patpong Night Market is a fun part of visiting Bangkok. Bargaining is normal, so don’t be shy to negotiate politely for a better price.
