We had a fantastic time with Chiu at the markets. She had wonderful recommendations and even got us access to smaller portions so we could try everything. Aside from the food, we were also given a rundown of the temple and recommendations for the rest of our trip in Taiwan. Would definitely recommend Chiu for anyone’s first time in Taiwan!

Open 24 hours. I bought a voucher on Klook, and the price was the same as in the store: a 60-minute full-body acupressure massage for $1088. It's a bit of a shame that you can't choose your therapist. If you want to select a specific therapist, I recommend calling ahead to make a reservation and paying on-site.
There's a mechanical parking garage nearby, and you can park for free on B5, but it happened to be under maintenance that day. There are plenty of scooter parking spots on the road in front, so I recommend coming by bus or scooter.
The environment looked nice, and the decor was to my liking, but I'm not sure if it was because it's in the basement, there was a slight smell of smoke 🚬.
This time, I was randomly assigned female therapist #29, and my companion had female therapist #23. Overall, it was pretty good; they hit all the sore spots. After the session, they provided refreshments, and the herbal tea was delicious. The service attitude was excellent.

Driver and guide (Sam Hahn) was experienced and professional in his sharing throughout the whole day. He is attentive to our queries and will provide clear instructions on where to meet and what time to leave. He also assist to take pictures for us. Overall, satisfied with the tour arrangement and his service. Highly recommended and the man to pick for our next trip. Thumbs up. ☺️👍🏻

One of our group day-tours got cancelled, but we were still able to go to Taipei 101 since we reserved tickets. This was one the highlights of our trip to Taiwan. The tower itself is more beautiful and magnificent in person. Even looking up at it from the street was such a sight to see. YouTube videos and postcards do not do it justice. We had access to the 89th Obseravatory Floor and it was worth it. We were able to get pictures prior to getting on the elevator. The 89th floor offered 360 degree views of Taipei and it was glorious. We were there around 5:45 to 6:45 pm and that was perfect for a golden sunset. The floor had a flux of photogenic backgrounds and props, some adorable cafes and treats, a souvenir shop, the Tuned Mass Dumper section, and the elevators to go up and down the tower. This was an unforgettable experience and easily topped some of my prior tower visits in the USA.

Spring City Resort
This time, we used a Klook package that included one meal and a two-hour hot spring private room for 3,500 NTD.
Upon arrival at the hotel entrance, a valet attendant will assist with parking, as guests are not permitted to drive down to the parking area themselves. It's good to be prepared to tip when leaving, to avoid an awkward moment with your wallet.
Dinner was a fixed Japanese set menu with no other options available. Overall, it was decent. After eating, you can take a stroll around the area before returning to the hot springs. The pace of the itinerary felt quite relaxing.
While the private hot spring room showed some signs of age and an older decor style, the room itself was spacious, and the bathing area was also roomy. The soundproofing of the main door was average, but since we visited on a weekday and there weren't many people, it wasn't a significant issue.
What was rather perplexing was that shortly after we entered the room, a staff member knocked on the door and said our time was up. We were completely bewildered, thinking, "We just got in; did time fly by, or is our life being fast-forwarded?" The staff member later confirmed the mistake, apologized, and left, but this little incident was certainly a bit odd.
Overall, although Spring City Resort's facilities and decor show their age, the service was generally acceptable, and the environment had a pleasant resort atmosphere. For 3,500 NTD for one meal and a two-hour private hot spring room, the value for money is still pretty good, making it a suitable place for a relaxing hot spring experience.

Our tour guide, Bobo is very energetic and enthusiastic in explaining the place of interest, give very clear instructions about meeting time and etc details and info. we enjoy joining her tour. thanks so much for bringing us around jiufen, Shi fen and yeh liu geopark.

Good place to spend a whole day. start from the top and work your way down. the collection is ordered from earliest period on the top floor, and later pieces on lower floors. public transport to get there is easy and cheaper then the sight seeing bus. there are so many pieces there you might want to come another day to see the rest. Do eat before coming here as there is only a small cafe that is constantly crowded. Besides their most popular pieces that people seem to like to view, you will find other pieces you will like I found the gate cups to be the ones I prefer over the popular pieces.

Two years ago, when we visited, it was a sunny day. Today, the weather was very cool, with a light drizzle. However, because of the rain, the roller coaster was temporarily closed, which was a shame because we didn't get to ride it.
We rode the Jungle Roar Treehouse (free fall), the pirate ship, the spinning teacups, the Galaxy Express (monorail), the Ferris wheel, the Happy Bumper Cars, and the Space Gyro. It was truly worth the price of admission!
My most memorable experience was riding the pirate ship; it was actually very comfortable, and my daughter and I rode it twice.
My son was glued to the sandbox and spent an hour and a half there. 😅
We didn't leave until it got dark (6:30 PM), and it was hard to say goodbye.
