The convenience of electronic tickets, which don't require exchange, is great. I also purchased a Kintetsu 5-day electronic ticket a year ago. However, unfortunately, I couldn't open the ticket at the station at all, and ultimately couldn't use it and had to cancel. I used a transportation card to go to the Kintetsu Nagoya Station ticket office and bought a physical ticket. I originally wanted to buy a physical ticket this time, but unfortunately, they stopped selling them on March 31, 2025; only electronic tickets are available. Each time you use it, you have to re-enter and open the ticket to use it, but many stations that aren't major stations often don't have 5G network, only LTE. I'm very worried that I won't be able to open the ticket. I visited Fukui, Kanazawa, Toyama, Shirakawa-go, Takayama, Hida-Furukawa, Gero, and heading back to Nagoya with this pass. I use around a whopping 50k yen in total. Can reserve seat up to 6x, but I only use 2x. For fast paced traveller like me, who easily get bored, this is suuper worth the money! Just hop on the shinkansen (only kagayaki needs seat reservation) or Hida, and off to another place. If you are planning to visit Shirakawa-go via Kanazawa, make sure to reserve the bus early! Booked mine D-26 by phone. It is selling like a hotcakes!

I completed the Nagoya to Shirakawa-go bus tour yesterday and was very satisfied with the experience. First of all, the bus driver was very polite. This is a deal breaker. it is an amazing pass that will bring you to place. if you plan to travel to many places in Nagoya, Osaka & Kyoto. This is a good one. But if you only stay in Kyoto, I suggest to get another pass and skip this. But all in all, this is a good pass to get.

The price difference isn't significant, but not having to buy tickets separately made the trip easy and convenient. Meiji Mura has overwhelmingly more to see, so if you plan to take your time, you'll need to invest a full day. However, there are many similar buildings, and if you're not interested in Japanese language and modern Japanese history, you'll become desensitized after a while. Inuyama Castle, after passing the shrines next to it, offers an amazing open view from the upper levels of the castle. The shopping streets below the castle are lined with shops, making it fun to explore and enjoy various delicious desserts. I'm disappointed that I have to return home before the Meiji Mura nighttime opening period.
