Customized Chartered car tour Nagoya/Takayama/Shirakawa

Very smooth experience and our driver / guide Mr Bai was very professional with timing and explanation. We did the Takayama - Shirakawa-go route. Went to the Takayama Jinya which is the only Edo period government house remaining. It is deathly cold inside as there is no heating for preservation precautions so either wear very thick winter socks and request for slippers. Very informative and educational. Definitely ask for the Hida Beef Yakiniku experience. Best to go there when lunch starts at 11-1130. It gets crowded later on. We then went to Shirakawa-go after lunch and you can expect to spend at least 3 hours there. Go to the outdoor museum first which is adjacent to the carpark, before you cross the bridge. To get to the observation point you can either trek up (which can be quite steep in parts), or take a shuttle bus (follow signs to this location) but expect a queue.

We had a wonderful experience with the customized chartered car tour to Takayama and Shirakawa. Our driver, 劉師傅, was incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire trip. The vehicle was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, which made a big difference as we were traveling with family including a toddler. Having a private car made the journey so much easier and stress-free. 劉師傅 was always punctual and ensured our safety at every point. We truly appreciated his hospitality and smooth driving. Our driver arrive early and waited in the entrance of out hotel. He communicate with us night before for the time and place for our meet-up. He also suggested time to stat on each of our places. He barely speak enligh but able to understand the language and uses translator app in communicating with us. We had a great time in touring places.

Our driver was very prompt , messaged us a day before, suggests good restaurant but too bad jan1, japanese new year mostly closed and he was an experienced driver, earthquake hit in japan on jan1,2024 bear nagoyo. But overall experienced was great. Would love to come back again, takayama ang shirkawago is good to visit. Highly recommended especially of ur group of 8 with elders

Two days before departure, we received a call from the car dealer via WhatsApp asking about the optional 300km itinerary. We had originally seen the recommendation of the GuanSA rest stop on the Internet. On the day of departure, Master Fan reviewed our itinerary and asked us if we would consider the Plateau SA, which would be just the right time for lunch and a view of the White Mountains. It is true that we need to listen to professional advice. The food at the Plateau SA is simple and delicious. There was an elderly person who was prone to motion sickness in our group, but Master Fan drove steadily and the whole family had a great time.

We had a great time at Shirakawa & Takayama. The place was so magical and Beautiful. definitely a must visit if you’re in Nagoya.

we were able to get an alphard after requesting from our 1st day. we loved the leg room and it was comfortable throughout the whole ride. the driver was not as helpful as our first day. he let us alone do the adjusting of chairs in order to get to the third row and he also takes sharp brakes. but he was helpful in finding restaurants and the places we were going to

Xiao Gui is an excellent driver. He took great care of me throughout the entire trip. At the beginning, he offered me a warm lemon and honey drink, and then made sure I wouldn't get lost at each location. He also told me about Japanese culture and ensured I had a comfortable and pleasant journey, making for a wonderful day. Fantastic!

You can plan your own travel. Polite staff, very good service Contact the shops as sometimes some shops do not speak English.

The driver is a Chinese who has lived in Japan for more than 20 years. He humorously said that he is the youngest grandpa in Nagoya. He drives very steadily and safely without feeling uncomfortable. The service is very good!!!
