Our experience with VASARA Kimono Rental in Nagoya was exceptional. While this location had fewer yukata choices than I expected, the staff more than made up for it with their kindness, enthusiasm, and genuine care. I hoped to wear a red yukata to match my wife’s, but none were available. The staff went above and beyond, searching through unopened boxes until they found a maroon yukata with dragon designs. They paired it with a blue obi featuring a water pattern. They also dressed my wife and daughter beautifully, and transformed my son into a young samurai. Seeing our whole family dressed together was a highlight of our trip. Walking through Nagoya and visiting Nagoya Castle in yukata felt immersive and special. We received many friendly compliments and interactions along the way. The VASARA team didn’t just rent us clothing, they created a wonderful family memory we will cherish for years. The experience was very enjoyable! The lady leading the activity was very patient and translated into English for Europeans like us. By the end of the activity, everyone had successfully made the confections thanks to her explanations.

We had a wonderful trip, thanks to our tour guide, Sasha, for taking such good care of everyone and for her friendly explanations of the attractions. We also want to give a definite thumbs-up to the driver. At the end of the trip, Sasha even provided some great food recommendations. Although our two days were short, the memories we made will last a lifetime.

The itinerary was rich and well-timed. Itinerary: On the first day, we had a relaxed 3-hour hike, followed by a buffet dinner and hot spring bath at the hotel. I recommend setting aside time to grab a bite near Kappa Bridge. The second day primarily involved taking various modes of transportation up the mountain and enjoying the scenery. The entire trip was comfortable and easy to complete. Accommodation: We were arranged to stay at the Hakuba Tokyu Resort, a hot spring hotel. It was a bit old but comfortable, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Tour Guide: The only minor drawback was that the tour guide didn't pay much attention to the guests, and communication could be improved. Meeting points were not communicated clearly or were changed arbitrarily. For example, on several occasions, we were told to wait at a shop entrance, but the guide would then just get on the tour bus themselves.

Such a great tour with good enthusiastic guide 小Xi and safe Japanese driver. Big coach was clean and comfortable. The scenery along the way was beautiful. Everything went well. We were very lucky to have a guide who spoke clearly and gave detailed instructions, information and recommendations both verbally and through WhatsApp. The itinerary was excellent with sufficient time at every stop. The tour is self-guided so we enjoyed the flexibility to do what we want and roam around freely based on the many places suggested by 小Xi who WhatsApp the exact location on Google maps to us. He also provided maps and gave food suggestions. We stayed at Hotel MyStays Kanazawa. Rooms are clean and new but very small. Double bed is also very small for two people. Best to ask for twin beds when booking this tour. Breakfast at the hotel was great with a wide spread of local and continental food. Overall we enjoyed this tour very much. Highly recommend this over a day tour to Shirakawago/Takayama.

My group of 6pax have enjoyed our 2D1N tour of the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, we were especially fortunate to have such an excellent guide in Ms Zhang, 张静娟. Our itinerary was well scheduled and Ms Zhang's detailed explanation of the places that we're visiting is clear and precise. She has also advised us of the nice local food that we should try. The 6 different transportation is an experience as we crossed the Alps and the mountains to reach the snow walls. The highest point of the wall was 11m, unfortunately, it was raining when we reached the snow wall, our photos was alittle blurry and wet but our excitement has compensated for the weather 😂

It poured rain the day we went to Kamikochi, but that meant we had amazing weather the next day for Tateyama Kurobe. Both places are perfect for hiking. Although the group tour made the hiking time a bit tight, we still got a good introduction to the main sights. Our guide even helped us take photos and edit them, and was really funny, too! It was a very enjoyable trip. I definitely want to come back in the future for a more in-depth hiking and camping experience.
