I went with my mom and it was so much fun! We watched the 2:30 PM dolphin show, but there wasn't much happening during the actual show. However, after the show, they practiced for about 10-15 minutes, and that's when the dolphins did more jumps and there was a lot more to see! If you catch the killer whale public practice, you can even see the underside of the killer whales from below. Just be careful of killer whale poop attacks! The sardine show is still vivid in my mind. Unlike typical times, there was special lighting and music, and it was absolutely beautiful! The penguins were also adorable, and it was so lovely and enjoyable to see marine life up close that I'd only ever seen on TV!
It is a wonderful place for the whole family to go. The visit route is good and the marine lifes are adorable. Recommand the tornado sadine and the dophine perforance, they are great. However, the orca “training” is disappointing. I know because the mammal protection rules limits what an orca in the aquarium can do, but if the children can’t feel what a great animal it is, how can we teach them to do the protection from the buttom of the hearts? That is why I rate the tour as 4 stars.
Booking Nagoya Port Aquarium tickets with Klook is incredibly convenient. You can directly scan the QR code for quick entry, completely avoiding long lines at the entrance! The orcas (killer whales) and beluga whales in the aquarium are definitely the main attractions. Watching their huge figures swim in the water is very healing. In addition, the dolphin show in Japan's largest outdoor pool and the spectacular sardine tornado light and sound performance are visually stunning. The overall flow is well-planned, and you can observe penguins and sea turtles up close in the South Building. It is highly recommended for both family trips and couples' dates. It's a high-value destination where you can spend the whole day.
It was very convenient to buy tickets on the day of entry and scan them directly to get in. The dolphin show at the aquarium was excellent. Transportation was convenient. The venue is divided into two sections. You can explore everything in three to four hours. Experience: There's a dolphin show. Convenience of booking with Klook: Very convenient, no need to wait in line to buy tickets.
This is one of the best places I've been to in my Japan visit. So much to see. Had an amazing experience. If you will go to Nagoya, make sure to include this in your itinerary.
I didn't expect the largest aquarium in Japan to be so amazing. With the QR code, you can directly scan it to enter without needing to exchange for a ticket. The aquarium is divided into the North and South buildings. The beluga whale feeding, sardine storm, and orca show are the best and truly a rare sight. Remember, during the orca performance, don't sit in the viewing stands. Go to the side of the orca pool for the most realistic view. On the viewing platform, you're just watching a live video. When you book on Klook, be sure to use it on the specified date. If you can't use it on that day, contact customer service in advance to cancel. You can use coupons when booking, which is cheaper than buying tickets on-site.
This is a wonderful place. The aquarium has a good flow, and the north and south halls have distinct characteristics. In addition to common dolphins, there are also orcas and beluga whales, which are very cute ♥️. The arranged performances are wonderful, and the outdoor tanks have excellent views. Even if you sit on the more biased sides, there are cameras that instantly shoot and play on the big screen, so you can see clearly. However, the orca performance is in the tank behind the dolphins, and you cannot see it from the audience seats, only through the big screen. If you don't dislike animals, this place is worth visiting for both adults and children. The inside is exciting, and the outside is great for taking pictures. Booking tickets with Klook is very convenient. The price is not more favorable, but you can enter immediately by scanning the QR code.
The admission fee was not as expensive as I thought, which was great, and most importantly, both my parents were very satisfied. For my parents, a sightseeing (watching and experiencing) course is definitely the best! Haha, it was wonderful to see the show, and the Nagoya Aquarium is very well organized with sections clearly divided by animal, such as turtles and penguins. It's also very well maintained, and the marine animals look healthy, so I was very satisfied. My top pick is the penguins, second is the dolphin and orca show, and third are the turtles and sardine schools—you absolutely must see them! It opens at 9:30 AM, and the line starts forming even before opening, but it's totally worth it!!
