Fantastic 5.0
The actual hiking experience is only about 4 hours due to travel time. It is recommended to depart at 06:00 and return on time at 15:30 to complete the entire itinerary. Due to the remote location, the driver and passengers will coordinate a reasonable stopping time. Here is the actual itinerary and time for the day: 06:00 meeting, 06:11 departure, 07:02 arrival at Yilan Railway Station, 07:38 arrival at the 7-11 at the foot of the mountain for a 10-minute break, 09:41 arrival at the Taiwan Beech Trail, 13:00 meeting, 14:06 arrival at Jiu-Zhi-Ze Hot Spring, 15:05 return trip. Lunch is at your own expense, find time to eat. Parking is not allowed at Jianqing Trail, but you can temporarily park in front of the trail for the convenience of hikers. If you haven't been to Jianqing before and have the above situation, you should communicate with the driver in a timely manner. Jianqing is a truly worthwhile trail to explore. It takes some time to get up the mountain, and passengers who are prone to motion sickness due to the winding roads must take motion sickness medicine. Even if you don't have a habit of motion sickness, you should still bring a bag with you on the mountain for the 02:30~ car ride.

The tour guide was very good, helpful, and informative, which made the whole trip even more enjoyable! The bus was super comfortable, and all the places we visited were absolutely beautiful. I just wish we had a little more time at the animal farm because it was such a lovely spot.
Overall, the experience was so much fun and truly memorable! ☺️✨

Very interesting tour. With a small group of 3 and a Taxi as our transportation. Feel like a private tour and very flexible. The itinerary is good and relax. The Beer tour is close and raining so it’s a bit disappointed. The tour guide is good and we have a good day out with lots of shoppings 😊

Fantastic 5.0
We engaged the private tour and was fortunate enough to be guided by Ms Joanna Lin. She was a really experienced and safe driver, packed with a wealth of knowledge of Taiwan's history, and was lovely and super caring for our well-being en route to Taiping Mountain. Joanna took the effort to explain some of the history of Taiwan and its indigenous peoples while traversing up the mountain, constantly checking with us if the swerves were making us uncomfortable. While up on the mountain, she offered to take photos for us and helped us captured scenic shots. On our way back, she also introduced us to the vast variety of produce coming from Yilan while driving through watermelon, scallion and paddy fields. Joanna was super accommodating to our requests and catered to our needs. Thanks Joanna!

I was with driver Jerry. It was my first time in this area, and he explained everything well and made sure we were comfortable getting around. I was sad that I didn't see dolphins at Turtle Island, but it was great to see capybaras. Thanks to him, I had a great trip! 😁👍

We had a wonderful and memorable day at Yilan with our guide Mr Hicks Wang. Not only did he bring and plan the trip smoothly for us, he's generosity is something we could never see from other guides. He even have slippers for us since we're going to the beach! I will look for Mr Hicks Wang for my next trip!

For this one-day trip, I am very grateful for the attentive and thoughtful care of "Little Black Guide." Throughout the journey, Little Black Guide's explanations and introductions were very thorough; especially during the exploration of Fulong, when one of the group members felt unwell, he immediately provided appropriate assistance, allowing the group member to successfully complete the entire trip. If I have travel needs in the future, I will definitely choose Klook first!

Fantastic 5.0
The location is spacious with parking available.
It's perfect for first-timers! Don't worry about not catching anything; the staff are there to guide you on how to fish for shrimp. Just follow their instructions, and you'll be successful.
Equipment: You don't need to prepare anything yourself; everything is well-prepared. They even provide shrimp crackers and drinks – so thoughtful! 😻
The staff will also teach you how to grill the shrimp and help monitor the grill. There's seating available on the second floor for dining.
