Taipingshan National Forest Recreation Area Ticket in Yilan

This is my "save the best for last tour" Unfortunately, we are unable to ride the Bongbong train because we are little late but the view here is awesome and the weather is very cold and we love it. I love the hotspring here too.

We went end of Oct so it was misty and rainy which can be somewhat troublesome, it's 12 degrees so do wear thicker clothing! Because it was so misty it felt like we were in a Japanese mountain from the movie, we managed to go to the hot spring (around 25-30mins) + cook corn and eggs! recommend to bring along swimming cap,slippers and swimwear for the hot spring! also would be good to bring your own bread to go along with the corn and egg although they do sell Ba Zhang (and some basic burger buns over there). our driver qisong is very friendly and helpful with excellent driving skills! oh I really liked the bong bong train too! do note for the bong bong you'll have to go up the staircase - saw some other older visitors struggling but manage to climb it might not be suitable for people with difficulty climbing.

I want to share my unforgettable experience at Taipingshan with everyone today! 🌲 First, I visited the Jianqing Historic Trail. The scenery along both sides of the trail was absolutely stunning, making me want to keep taking pictures 📸. Then, I stepped into the Tiejianlin Trail and felt surrounded by the lush forest. The air was so fresh, it felt like I was breathing in all the phytoncides. 🌲 I also went to the Taipingshan platform for stargazing, lying there to admire the starry sky ✨. It was so romantic! 😍 The trails in Taipingshan are all easy to walk, and the scenery is fantastic, making it perfect for a relaxing weekend trip. I also took many beautiful photos there and can't wait to share them with everyone. This trip to Taipingshan truly relaxed my mind and body. I recommend everyone come and experience it! 👍 Taipingshan is definitely worth a visit ⛰️! Booking was hassle free and conveniebt. Absolutely loved my visit to Taipingshan National Forest! The scenery was breathtaking—every corner looked like it came straight out of a postcard. It was incredibly peaceful and beautiful, the perfect escape into nature. One of the highlights was definitely the bong bong train ride—such a fun and charming experience! I left feeling refreshed and in awe of the natural beauty. Will 100% be coming back! Highly recommended for anyone who loves nature, tranquility, and a bit of adventure.

this is the highlight of the our tour in taiwan. we had so much fun. its fun riding the bong bong train. its 5C here so better wear appropriate clothes. geothermal cooking with the locals is a unique experience too. i noticed no foreign tourist here, so expect less crowd. highly recommended tour

the silent valley with spectacular views. i suggest people to go during winter . apparently it snows there .never miss the hot springs and the cooking in the hot springs . the yellow bom bom train is the highlight .

Using this voucher granted us a quick and convenient entry into the Taipingshin National Forest Recreation Area. No queueing anymore and no hassle of having to purchase it right on the spot. We were on a van upon entering, so we only had to hand over our phones to the security guards at the entrance. They just swiftly scanned our Klook QR Code and that was it. We were in!

We had a driver to drive us up and redemption was swift by scanning the QR code. Does not include Bong Bong car but we gave it a miss as time was short. Enjoyed the Jianqing Historic Trail walk as it was cold and peaceful.
