    The Orang Asli Museum, situated in Gombak, was established in 1987 with the objective of showcasing the history and tradition of the indigenous Orang Asli people of Peninsular Malaysia.
    Here, you'll find a permanent exhibition displaying a variety of items such as hunting and cooking equipment, traditional musical instruments, and garments.
    Fun fact: Orang Asli Museum Gombak is just a 20 minute drive away from Batu Caves! Our favourite way to explore Batu Caves is through a join-in tour or a private tour, both of which you can find on Klook.

    3. P. Ramlee Memorial House

    For Malaysian cinema and music enthusiasts, check out the P. Ramlee Memorial House (not to be confused with the P. Ramlee House in Penang) as it offers a moving tribute to the late great artist Tan Sri P. Ramlee. Officially opened as a memorial in 1986, this building once served as his final place of residence.
    The exhibitions here detail P. Ramlee's life and career, featuring artifacts like costumes worn by himself and his wife, famed songstress Saloma. You'll also see film-making equipment used in works like "Penarik Beca", as well as dioramas, such as one recreating the set of "Pendekar Bujang Lapok".

    HARTA is an acronym for "HABIB taking Action for the Revival of our Traditions and our Arts", and its name rings true in the curation of the space. The venue hosts monthly exhibitions on top of the permanent museum section showcasing centuries-old Peranakan jewellery. Don't forget to grab a quick bite at the cafe while you're there!
