    You can't leave Kampong Glam without catching a glimpse of the majestic Masjid Sultan (also called Sultan Mosque), the biggest and most impressive mosque in the city. Its huge golden dome and four minarets can be spotted from a distance away, and the street it's on is also a really picturesque one lined with heritage buildings and palm trees.     This row of pre-war shophouses along Koon Seng Road is a well-known landmark in Joo Chiat courtesy of its colourful, pastel facade. If you look closer, you will also notice flowers patterns, tiles, and intricate detailing on its exterior. These photogenic heritage houses are worth a visit and will certainly add some colour to your Singapore visit!
