the museum was really great even though small in size 2 floors. all the exhibits were real bones or skin. the descriptions were really helpful that the children are able to appreciate the story behind it. prefect for kids.
Best to travel by bus, get off in front of the museum.Tickets can only be booked through Online. There are two levels in total, with a lot of knowledge and information If you're afraid of winged animals, you should be careful because there are so many butterflies.
came here with my boyfriend for his bday!! free bday entry although the staff keep referring me to different people and we didn't know where to register & redeem our tickets... museum was mindblowing and interesting & spent around 2 hours there (2 storeys) will definitely go back!! huge fan of the animals & marine creatures ~
Recommended for a DIY/ solo trip. It was a landmark of Singapore that should not be missed out and it was my first time to travel to the country. Using Klook to book tours and other tourist sites in the city truly saves time and planning. This is one of my memorable places visited in the entire trip because my interest on dinosaurs have been part of my childhood. Happy that this has been part among the tours available in Klook.
i joined the sunday 1pm tour and gained insights about the exhibits which is better than just reading from the exhibits which most only have names and the dates. there are only 2 levels accessible to the public despite the building is 7 storeys tall.
A fabulous experience getting to know Singapore's museum! Beautifully maintained museum. The staff was courteous and helpful. We had a wonderful time exploring the various rooms. A must see here is the glass rotunda featuring story of the forest and it's magnificent. The cafes were great too!
A fun day out at the museum. Interesting exhibits to wow people of all ages. From the giant skeleton of the dinosaur to the jellyfish and small insects, it was quite an eye opener. Spent about 2 hours here. Entrance was fuss free with a slight discount buying on Klook. Parking is readily available right next to the entrance. We didn't get wet even though it was raining when we went.

Guide

  • See what sauropod dinosaurs looked like at the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum
  • Learn about over one million natural specimens from Southeast Asia
  • Travel back in time and witness the beginning of life on Earth
  • Explore the museum's expansive 8,500 square meter property — a great activity for both kids and adults

Want to lay your eyes on the three sauropod dinosaur fossils that are more than 80% complete? No, this is not a sci-fi movie. You can see all of that in the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum in Singapore. The museum is a majestic 7-storey building covering a floor space of 8,500 square meters housing over a million regional specimens. Opened in April of 2015, the museum is one of the youngest in Singapore, yet is home to one of the oldest collections inherited from its predecessor — the Raffles Museum of Biodiversity Research. At the museum, you will get to learn about the diversity of life on Earth, travel back in time and see the plants, amphibians, mammals and dinosaurs in 16 thematic zones.
