Transport in Tokyo

If your hotel is on the east side of Tokyo (Ueno, Asakusa, Ginza, Akihabara) or easily accessible via the Yamanote ring line, booking the Keisei Skyliner on Klook is a no-brainer. You save a few bucks, skip the long cash ticket lines at the airport counter by using the self-service QR code kiosks, and get into the city fast.

love the convenience of buying from Klook and use instantly. don’t need to buy b4 trip in case of trip cancellation. now we can use paperless pass via QR code scanning instead of exchanging pass at station. super convenient. buy from Klook and use at station immediately… nice 👍🏻

such a great pass to get especially if you are DIY-ing your visits to Kamakura, Hakone. For a 3 day mobile pass, that we only utilized for 2 days, this was such a bargain versus doing the guided tours.

If I hadn't booked the Narita Express, it would have been very difficult given the distance from the airport to my destinations (Tokyo Station, Shinjuku). 😀 If you're booking, it's a good idea to research online beforehand how to select your seat on the day of use after purchasing a round-trip ticket. A helpful tip if you miss your train: for the Narita Express, there are usually plenty of seats, so you can just board the next train and sit in an empty seat. If you have a reserved seat, you can simply move to another available seat! (I didn't want to find this out, but I missed my reserved train on the last day and learned this when the ticket checker on the train kindly pointed out an empty seat, allowing me to happily finish my trip! 👍)

Great experience, 100% recommend when in Hong Kong. Passionate staff, who care about the dolphins. We managed to see so many. We also managed to get off in the fishing village, giving us more opportunities to explore Hong Kong.

I took the airport limousine from Hotel ikebukuro to Narita Airport. The hotel had a clear sign for the airport limousine bus and the hotel staffs were very helpful. The bus arrived on time and the driver proceeded to check our tickets before storing our luggages. The ride took roughly 1 hour (departed at 9.45am) from ikebukuro to Narita airport. I highly recommend using this service to make your life easier on your last day in Japan. I'd rather have a comfortable trip to the airport than to navigate the train stations with my 20-30kg luggages.

Seat reservation process: simple and fast! We quickly received a confirmation message. We chose to board in Ikebukuro, and they arranged for us to meet in front of a hotel (about a fifteen-minute walk from the station). After boarding, we realized the bus's next stop was near Ikebukuro Station. It would have been better if we could have chosen the boarding location more carefully. The included transportation service: the bus interior was clean and spacious, and it even had a restroom. We reached our destination in about two hours. Before arriving, the driver would remind you to wake up.

very easy to purchase and claim. this is hassle-free so i recommend this specially if you're with a group. i think the welcome suica last 6 months the last time i checked my balance it says expiry is July (purchased february)

the 2 days pass is worth taking. we took the local train which is only one hour more than limited express. and the frequency of the train is very fast. unlike limited express, although is more comfortable, the ticket has to purchase in advance. the free bus ride allow us to take from station to the shinkyo bridge, then to the temple and back to hotel for 2 days. however, the bus is crowded. sometimes, we walk for short distance instead.
