Joined a day tour in Kyushu today, covering four attractions. I thought the pace would be rushed, but it wasn't tiring at all because the driver and tour guide arranged everything so well. Our guide, Jin, was practically a walking encyclopedia! His explanations were interesting and funny, even the elders and kids listened attentively to his stories.
**First stop: Umi Jigoku (Sea Hell) Bicolor Hot Spring Spectacle ♨️**
The blue and red hot spring pools are actually two different mineral compositions. Our guide, Jin, explained very carefully why two pools so close together would have different colors.
**Second stop: Kyushu Animal Forest 🦁**
I thought the elders and teenagers would find watching animals boring, but they all turned into "wow wow wow" while constantly taking pictures of the animals. Although we couldn't ride the cage car to feed the animals, we still took many beautiful animal photos while riding in the air-conditioned bus. My family was most happy about feeding the ponies and touching the kangaroos.
**Third stop: Yufuin Street Food Guide 🍡**
Before getting off the bus, our guide, Jin, provided each family with a Yufuin food map. We took the elders and youngsters to explore the street food, trying different local delicacies, but the weather was really hot!
**Fourth stop: Mt. Yufu Trailhead ⛰️**
The last stop of the trip was the Mt. Yufu trailhead. I thought it would be ordinary, planning to take a photo in 10 minutes after getting off the bus, but it turned out to be a super-sized mountain view IMAX theater! The lush green mountains stretched to the horizon, making me feel refreshed!
