Kudos to Edward and the bus driver for taking care of us during the trip. Edward was very informative and friendly. Overall we had a good time during the tour, even though the traffic was pretty bad (Took us total 6 hrs going and back to Shinjuku). Places were beautiful! We are lucky enough to have good weather and we can see Mt. Fuji clearly. Things to note: To reach the Pagoda you have to hike 300+ steps. 😅

Great experience. The last time was at Mt. Fuji was in 1990. Such an exhilarating experience to see it again and to actually get photos. My last trip I was driving. Belle did a great job in telling us about the history of the mountain and surrounding areas.

I paid a little extra to purchase a Korean guide, expecting a Korean-speaking guide. I arrived at the meeting point early and waited, expecting a Korean person to arrive, but after 30 minutes, I couldn't hear any Korean. I contacted the guide using the contact information in the email and barely made it on board before departure. The tour was conducted in English and Chinese. If I had known this, I would have just chosen the English guide. Haha. Nevertheless, the guide was friendly and the weather was lucky, so I could see Mount Fuji to my heart's content. I gave up halfway up Sengen Park and just came down. Time was short and it was too difficult. If you have the stamina, go all the way up, but if you get tired easily, just go up the first set of stairs, take a picture of Mount Fuji, come down, and slowly look around Honcho Street, taking pictures. I recommend it. On weekends or holidays with heavy traffic, you'll be stuck on the bus for 4 hours on the way back, so don't make the schedule too tight afterwards. I give it 5 stars because of the friendly guide.
