Things to do in Asahiyama Zoo

Although many flowers had not yet bloomed, our tour guide, Chen Ling, provided detailed explanations and a lot of extra information, making the trip smooth and enjoyable.

We had an awesome time on the Furano Biei tour with Jenny! She was super organized and messaged us the day before with a helpful checklist of what to bring. During the tour, she shared really cool historical facts at every stop without making it boring. Plus, her food recommendations were spot on—she knew exactly what local specialties to try and where to get them for the best price. Highly recommend her!

Traveling independently in Hokkaido and booking a Klook tour was incredibly convenient. Our guide, Mr. HIKARU, not only sent a notification the day before, but he also led the tour exceptionally well on June 19th. He provided commentary in Chinese, English, and Japanese, making it suitable for participants from various countries. He introduced us to Biei, Furano, the Blue Pond, and Farm Tomita. When it unexpectedly rained in the afternoon at Farm Tomita, and we didn't have umbrellas, our guide even personally escorted each of us back to the car. He is truly an excellent guide with extensive travel experience. A fantastic guide indeed!

It was a well-organized tour with sufficient time to explore every attractions. Our guide, Hikaru, was friendly, funny, and kept the energy high the whole day. The lavender fields at Shikisai no Oka were stunning and a total highlight. Also, you have to try the upon ramen at melon ice cream at Herb Garden - it was absolutely delicious! Overall, the tour offered great value for money considering all the attractions we visited. The only bummer was that Farm Tomita was closed on the day of our visit, so there weren't many flowers to check out there. We still had a great time and highly recommend it.

pick up from Odori station exit 31 is a breeze. Tour Guide Kelvin will watapps a day in advance before the trip and give you the clear direction on where to meet. he was well conversed in Chinese, English and Japanese. He was good at the history of the places we visited. Every locations, he will tell us the background and its history which is very useful! thumb up for the smooth ride and imptly get to see all the beautiful scenery in Hokkaido. ❤️

Tour was great and our guide Hong did an amazing job showing us Hokkaido. Not just being a taxi, they were able to give us historic attributes of the locations we went to. thanks

We finally got to visit Asahiyama Zoo, which we had been looking forward to for a long time! The weather was exceptionally good that day, with clear blue skies! We saw adorable little penguins and bought lots of cute merchandise at the zoo shop. We loved it so much! Shirasu Falls and Shirogane Blue Pond were also incredibly beautiful, and we had a wonderful time! Our guide, Xiao Zhang, worked so hard, constantly helping us with introductions in Chinese, English, and Japanese, all while driving. It really wasn't easy. Guide Zhang was humorous, witty, enthusiastic, and thoughtful, and we are all very grateful to you! Boss, are you seeing this? Give this kid a bonus!

This one-day tour was excellent value, visiting 5 locations in a single day, and the final Fairy Terrace was absolutely charming. Our guide, Hikaru, was very friendly and humorous, providing clear and vivid explanations of each attraction's features and important details. The only minor point was that there weren't many flowers in Biei, but otherwise, the entire trip was perfect.
