This pass is ideal for traveling to Nara, offering free train and bus travel within the city. (1) This online pass should be activated on the day of travel, starting at Namba Station, and you should find the Kintetsu Line route. (2) To activate, click on the voucher and select "start using." (3) There is a train schedule; choose a Limited Express train to Kintetsu-Nara. This pass does not include advance seat reservations. (4) Upon reaching the destination station, exit via the East Exit and walk along Noborioji-cho Road towards Nara Park, or take a Nara Kotsu bus from in front of the station to the Todaiji Daibutsuden/Kasugataisha-mae stop. - I personally walked to see the deer park and Todaiji Temple on the way there, and took the bus back to the station. (5) You can visit Todaiji Temple (Great Buddha), but there is an admission fee for the interior of the temple. (6) This pass can also be used to ride the Cable Car to enjoy the atmosphere at the mountaintop, which has an amusement park. From Nara Station, take the train back to Ikoma Station. Upon exiting the station, turn left, and you will see a sign for the Cable Car. When you arrive, there will be a "Welcome" sign. You can show the QR code to the staff and take two cable car rides. Unfortunately, this pass cannot be used for amusement park rides, but it is still considered a good value.

love the convenience with JR pass as it connects all the places of interest via Shinkansen. Fast delivery. We received the exchange couple within few days. We went to Nagoya station to exchange the pass and also reserved our seats. We visited Gero, Shirakawago, Kanazawa, Fukui, Tsuruga. We took JR train, express bus and Shinkansen train. Very worth it

Alpen Takayama Matsumoto Pass Review – My Honest Opinion I used this pass during my recent trip to Japan, which included the itinerary: Nagoya → Matsumoto → Alpine Route → Toyama → Takayama → Nagoya. 1. **Fast Delivery of Exchange Voucher:** It was great to receive the pass exchange voucher within two days of ordering. 2. **Easy Exchange for Physical Ticket at Nagoya Station JR Counter:** The process of exchanging the pass at the counter and immediately reserving seats made train travel much more convenient during the trip. 3. **High Utility for Multi-Region Travel:** Since my plan was to travel through Matsumoto, the Alpine Route, Toyama, and Takayama, it was very convenient not to have to arrange separate transportation for each segment. 4. **Beautiful Scenery from the Train:** The views from the train were truly wonderful. The driver picked us up from our hotel and dropped us off at the next hotel. We contacted the manager via Line, as requested in the procedure, and they sent us a photo of the vehicle and its license plate. We were able to communicate in English on Line. We don't regret using this transfer service and will use it again in the future if the opportunity arises.

I couldn't buy my preferred bus ticket to Shirakawa-go on the official bus website, but luckily Klook still had it! The timing was perfect too. The pick-up location is right outside Green Hotel, which was easy to find and very convenient!

The exchange counter at the Hong Kong Airport arrival hall was clearly marked and easier to find than expected. After receiving the paper voucher, I went to the JR counter at Kansai Airport to exchange it for the pass. The process was very smooth, and I also took the opportunity to reserve seats for the Kuroshio Limited Express at the counter. (Since the pass was activated the day after the exchange, if you want to reserve a specific seat before activation, you can only do so manually. Self-service ticket machines cannot process unactivated passes.) This pass offers excellent value for money, covering a wide area including Osaka, Wakayama, Shirahama, Shingu, and even as far as Nagoya. It's also valid for buses in the Kumano region. My only regret is that 5 days aren't enough to explore everything.
