WOW! We enjoyed our whole day here. We stayed in. Legoland hotel and very convenient to arrive during opening of the park. The kids rode almost all kid friendly rides. Their favorite is the driving school. Me and hubby's favorite is the miniland. It feels like we were able to visit the whole japan.

Fantastic 5.0
The location is in the Chunichi Building, the newest landmark in Nagoya's central Sakae district. It's very convenient, directly connected to the subway exit via underground passages 21-22. The lobby is on the 24th floor, offering excellent panoramic views. The room number and floor will be provided upon check-in. Downstairs, you'll find Blue Bottle Coffee, Hisaya-odori Park, and Don Quijote, perfect for shopping until you drop. For a late-night snack, you can walk to Sekai no Yamachan for takeout chicken wings. If you enjoy night photography, head straight down to the 7th-floor sky deck for fantastic shots of the Chubu Electric Power Tower and Oasis 21's 'Spaceship-Aqua' within a 10-minute walk. Highly recommended if you like these features.

I went there for my birthday. I used Forza for the second time. It's a place with very good access to shopping. I'm so grateful to Forza for celebrating the anniversary. But I don’t think there‘s communication between the staff. I’m Korean, so I‘ve looked for a staff who can speak Korean several times, but every time they said there was none. After 30 minutes, I saw a staff who can speak Korean. Thank you, Mr. Watanabe. I will use it again next time.

The hotel is located in the heart of Sakae area within walking distance from Sakae subway station, Donki, and the TV Tower. There is also a 7-11 below and a bus stop in front of the hotel which is very convenient. The free drinks every 2pm until 11pm is also a bonus! The sizing of my room is perfect for a solo traveler. This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at during my stay in Japan. I will definitely book here again when I come back to Nagoya.

Fantastic 5.0
Would revisit! Pros: - Conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from Nagoya Station, making transportation easy. - The water pressure in the bathroom is strong, and there's a bathtub that, while short in length, is deep enough to enjoy a half-body bath. - The room generally feels clean. - Each room is equipped with a coffee machine and two complimentary capsules. - The coffee pot looked clean, so I felt comfortable using it. - The refrigerator works well. - The lobby on the first floor has many tables, and you can use the beverage dispenser and automatic coffee machine for free, so you can bring in snacks/food from outside to eat. - Although there are no amenities provided in the room, you can freely take as many amenities as you need from next to the front desk on the first floor. - There's a free ice machine and water dispenser on the second floor, so you can fill your room's cup with water or fill the ice bucket provided in the room with ice. (However, since the room cups are small, it's more convenient to buy a water bottle outside and fill it up.) Paid vending machines are also available. - I didn't visit, but the public bath is also available. Surprisingly, many people use it. - ★The breakfast quality is excellent. Cons: - Being about a 10-minute walk from Nagoya Station, it can be a bit difficult to move around with heavy luggage. - As is common with all Japanese hotels, the room is very small. If you bring a 28-inch suitcase, the bathroom door might only open halfway, or there might be no space to stand. - The bathroom is also very small. It's impossible for two people to brush their teeth simultaneously. - While not all staff were like this, the staff member who checked me in spoke so softly that it was difficult to understand them. - This might have only been the case for our room (Room 707), but the bathroom fan was broken, causing a rotten water smell to permeate the bathroom for two out of three nights. (When I reported it to the front desk on the third day, they fixed it immediately during cleaning.) - Whether due to the room being very dry or the carpeted floor having a lot of dust, even with the air purifier on, my rhinitis worsened every time I woke up, causing discomfort.

Always have a great experience with Sotetsu hotels. I love the location, restaurants around. Shops nearby. I would definitely come back again!

More about Nagoya hotels

Staying overview

Nagoya’s hotel scene spans a noticeable range in price: the top end runs about four times higher than the most affordable options, so there’s clear room to trade up for more comfort. The premium tier tends to offer the best balance of value and quality for most travellers.

Comparing the four hotel classes and who they fit

Economy rooms sit at the budget end and are the most affordable choice for travellers focused on cost. Standard rooms step up from economy with modestly higher rates and suit those wanting a bit more comfort without a big price jump. Premium rooms represent the best-value sweet spot and are where many travellers find the right mix of space and amenities for the price. The largest price leap occurs from premium to luxury, making luxury a distinct upgrade for those prioritising top-tier comfort and willing to pay noticeably more.

When travellers book

Room rates are typically lowest in January and reach their peak in October, so a budget-led trip fits best if you aim for January when rates are cheaper than in October. Typical bookings are made around six weeks ahead, with demand and advance planning increasing further for stays during the priciest month.
