Hotels in Nagoya

The hotel is located in the heart of Sakae area within walking distance from Sakae subway station, Donki, and the TV Tower. There is also a 7-11 below and a bus stop in front of the hotel which is very convenient. The free drinks every 2pm until 11pm is also a bonus! The sizing of my room is perfect for a solo traveler. This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at during my stay in Japan. I will definitely book here again when I come back to Nagoya.

WOW! We hebben de hele dag genoten. We verbleven in het Legoland hotel en het was erg handig om bij de opening van het park aan te komen. De kinderen hebben bijna alle kindvriendelijke attracties gedaan. Hun favoriet is de rijschool. Mijn favoriet en die van mijn man is het miniland. Het voelt alsof we heel Japan hebben kunnen bezoeken.

Would revisit! Pros: - Conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from Nagoya Station, making transportation easy. - The water pressure in the bathroom is strong, and there's a bathtub that, while short in length, is deep enough to enjoy a half-body bath. - The room generally feels clean. - Each room is equipped with a coffee machine and two complimentary capsules. - The coffee pot looked clean, so I felt comfortable using it. - The refrigerator works well. - The lobby on the first floor has many tables, and you can use the beverage dispenser and automatic coffee machine for free, so you can bring in snacks/food from outside to eat. - Although there are no amenities provided in the room, you can freely take as many amenities as you need from next to the front desk on the first floor. - There's a free ice machine and water dispenser on the second floor, so you can fill your room's cup with water or fill the ice bucket provided in the room with ice. (However, since the room cups are small, it's more convenient to buy a water bottle outside and fill it up.) Paid vending machines are also available. - I didn't visit, but the public bath is also available. Surprisingly, many people use it. - ★The breakfast quality is excellent. Cons: - Being about a 10-minute walk from Nagoya Station, it can be a bit difficult to move around with heavy luggage. - As is common with all Japanese hotels, the room is very small. If you bring a 28-inch suitcase, the bathroom door might only open halfway, or there might be no space to stand. - The bathroom is also very small. It's impossible for two people to brush their teeth simultaneously. - While not all staff were like this, the staff member who checked me in spoke so softly that it was difficult to understand them. - This might have only been the case for our room (Room 707), but the bathroom fan was broken, causing a rotten water smell to permeate the bathroom for two out of three nights. (When I reported it to the front desk on the third day, they fixed it immediately during cleaning.) - Whether due to the room being very dry or the carpeted floor having a lot of dust, even with the air purifier on, my rhinitis worsened every time I woke up, causing discomfort.

the location of the hotel is very accessible by bus/train. walking distance to mirai tower and oasis 21, don quixote and other shops. I will definitely come back to this hotel

Service: We had to check in and check out again because we were on a two-day, one-night tour of Kamikochi and Tateyama Kurobe. We are also very grateful that they allowed us to store our luggage for a day! When we returned home, we realized we had left something in the room, and they were very proactive in contacting me and offering solutions!

We had a wonderful stay at APA Hotel Nagoya Sakae Ekimae! The location was excellent and everything we needed was within walking distance, including Don Quijote, the subway station, convenience stores, and plenty of restaurants, which made getting around Nagoya incredibly convenient. The room was also a pleasant surprise. It was clean, comfortable, and more spacious than we expected, giving us plenty of room to relax after a full day of exploring. The hotel was well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and efficient throughout our stay.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The front desk staff were friendly and polite. Next to the elevator, there were drip coffee bags and various tea bags available, as well as small packaged amenities like cleansing and beauty lotions. Everything was great, except for the location being a bit far from the station. The breakfast selection was extensive; the freshly made omelets are highly recommended. There were many Japanese dishes, breads, and salads, and a wide variety of beverages including juice, milk, and oolong tea. The only minor downsides were that there were only three types of fruit, and the curry sauce was a bit thin and not the traditional Japanese flavor we usually expect.
