Honestly one of the best tours we have had. We had 2 hrs each in Takayama and Shirakawa go. Guide was easy, helpful and on time. Guide helped us find where to eat, recommended spots for photo taking and collecting stamps. Both places are a winter wonderland in January and the snow is so white and clean. Only complaint is that we wished we could have more time in each location.

such a well planned and great trip! it snowed on the day and made the place more magical. the view is amazing and trip went smoothly with a great service and care from Yu and Iwase San. would 1000% recommended the trip to shirakawago and takayama city. dont forget to listen to Yu recommendation on food cos its all good!! dont forget to buy the water pudding and book the lunch 😍

Highly recommended tour for those visiting Nagoya especially in Winter! Takayama and Shirakawago are simply breathtaking! I would love to do it all over again and visit other seasons too! The tour guides were the best! Gogoday! Appreciate their effort to make an entire day of touring fun!

If you're traveling to Nagoya, I highly recommend this itinerary! Shirakawa-go Gassho Village is truly beautiful! Especially the Gassho Village after it has snowed, it's worth seeing at least once! The Hida beef in Takayama Old Town is also delicious! The meeting point is easy to find and very convenient! Our guide this time was Ms. Liu Mei, and she thoughtfully prepared a map in advance. She explained the overview of the attractions very carefully and also recommended many popular photo spots and meals, so that we could quickly become familiar with the attractions as soon as we arrived! She is very professional! She adjusted the itinerary for us in real-time! Making this trip very smooth! It saved us a lot of time queuing! And we had a lot of fun! The tour bus driver's driving skills are also very good! The bus was clean and tidy! When we returned to the city, our guide, Liu Mei, also enthusiastically shared many delicacies in the city and other tourist attractions in Nagoya! Next time, we will come to Nagoya to participate in other day trips recommended by guide Liu Mei! I hope to meet guide Liu Mei again to lead us!

This winter day trip to Takayama and Shirakawa-go was truly unforgettable and one of the highlights of my time in Japan. Visiting Shirakawa-go while it was covered in snow felt like stepping into a fairytale-the gassho-zukuri houses looked absolutely stunning in the winter scenery. Takayama was just as charming, with its traditional streets, historic atmosphere, and cozy winter vibes. The entire trip was very well organized, transportation was comfortable and warm, and everything ran smoothly, making the day completely stress-free. We had enough time at both locations to explore, take photos, and enjoy the atmosphere without feeling rushed. Our guide, Lee, was very friendly and well knowledgeable, sharing interesting history and cultural insights that really added to the experience. If you're visiting Japan in winter and want to see beautiful traditional towns, I can't recommend this day enough. Absolutely worth it!

this is a fun and convinient way to experience Shirakawa-go. Moe, our tour guide, layouts information tha are essentials and give tips to emjoy each stopover. She doesn’t push the people to try on things rather give options which to try at their own choices.

Due to the snow, many sections of the highway were closed, causing severe traffic congestion. We departed at 8:10 AM and were stuck in traffic for over an hour, shortening each leg of the trip by about half an hour. Our tour guide, John Lee, was great and did a good job managing the time. He provided information about history, routes, famous attractions, and local snacks. He is fluent in three languages and switched between them freely during his presentations; our group was like a small United Nations. There was a minor incident before leaving the last stop: an Indonesian girl couldn't find her way back and got lost. Thankfully, the tour guide went to the rescue and found her after about 20 minutes. It was a close call! Luckily, it happened before departure, or the trip would have been ruined. The roads from Nagoya to Takayama and Shirakawa-go were closed the next day, and many modes of transportation were suspended. We were very lucky. In conclusion, it was a wonderful trip.

Such a beautiful and stunning tour during winter! Got lots of photos and tried amazing food. Had an amazing guide, Aileen, was very clear and informative with the itinerary and history. Would definitely recommend and go again! (snow was very soft XD)

The time allotted at Ghibli Park was more than enough to explore the whole area, even with some lines, and still enjoy a proper meal. The meet-up point was easy to find, and the lunch bento was already prepared and handed out before boarding the bus, which was very convenient. Quick heads-up: there are no trash bins inside the park, so you’ll need to bring your trash with you until you’re back at Nagoya Station (bins for bottles and cans are available). On the tour day, what we visited after the park was Toyota Automobile Museum, where the guide shared car inspirations from Ghibli movies, making it fun to spot them. The time there was under an hour, so it felt a bit rushed. But it's still good overall!
