Fantastic 5.0
was a great day, our guide was super helpful and made good suggestions on what to do first so we don’t have to wait in lines ect, the tabbogan was soooo much fun, it was super crowded and very busy but still definitely worth going, lunch buffet was actually really nice but there are restaurants if you wanted to get your own lunch

Fantastic 5.0
The guide, Linda, was organized and constantly aware of not losing the group, giving us enough time for the entire group to arrive at each stop before offering her recounting on the significance of each building, relic or historical artifact. She spoke clearly and coherently, adding a touch of humour, always with a smile. The tour was well paced, not too hectic, despite the scale and depth of what was covered. Definitely worth your money!

It is great to have Susie as our tour guide. She is very organized and gave instructions properly. She communicated in chinese and English and the tour was implemented seamlessly. She is very proficient in both languages. She even went the extra mile to offer us some drinks at a very reasonable price in case some of us did not bring enough water..

I had a really great time! I booked the Starry Night ticket, which included a drink and a game where I won a souvenir! The park isn't very big, but it's very pretty, and the atmosphere is magical!

i suggest heading there after lunch..there was no crowd by the entrance gates..went specifically for the harry potter part of the theme park. the merch (shirts) disappointed me thats the down side along wt hour long wait times for the two rides. was worth it as it was a fun even if all audio was in chinese..anyway the highlight was when the castle lit up. it was around 7pm when they did this so make sure to wait..

I would like to share my experience. it’s as simple as it can be. book and select the morning slot or afternoon slot. if you choose the morning slot, you can enter anytime from 8am to 12pm. if you book the afternoon slot, you cannot enter earlier. The attendants at the gate will ask you to return later. And entering the place was as easy with just bringing your passport. but be careful when you book in Klook. you must enter your passport number correctly. someone got an alphabet wrong and the scanning could not detect. the person was asked to contact the source to get the alphabet corrected. I didn’t stay to witness what happened, but I later saw that person inside, so I guess it must have been settled. also, I booked with the treasure gallery, which is a must if you want to visit the Zhen consort well. it is inside the treasure gallery.

Exploring the Summer Palace with Wendy made our trip to Beijing truly unforgettable! She is an exceptional guide whose deep knowledge of imperial history brings every pavilion and story to life. Wendy navigated the massive grounds seamlessly—effortlessly dodging the crowds, guiding us to the best views across Kunming Lake, and sharing fascinating details about the Long Corridor and Marble Boat. Her warmth, pacing, and local recommendations were outstanding. If you are visiting Beijing, book Wendy as your guide—she is fantastic!

Fantastic 5.0
The purchasing and admission process is so easy. We purchased the morning 8am-12pm session, part of our family entered the park at 10:30am with no wait and the other members entered at 12:30pm without issues also although website says to enter within specified time slot. All we needed was to scan our QR code, the staff did not check our passport. We took our time browsing the buildings and spent nearly 4 hours there. There was lots to see, the area is huge with lots of Greenspan, our legs had a workout but it was easy to walk. Lots of visitors at the park during the summer break but didn't feel crowded like the Forbidden City/Great Wall. Pricing on Klook is always the cheapest, we are very satisfied with the booking process overall.

Fantastic 5.0
Booking this Mutianyu Great Wall package was incredibly smooth and hassle-free from start to finish. I loved having the entrance ticket, shuttle bus, and chairlift all combined into one simple booking. When I arrived at the scenic area, scanning my mobile voucher was quick and easy. I was able to bypass the long ticket queues completely. The shuttle bus pick-up point was simple to find, and hopping straight onto the chairlift saved so much time and leg energy for hiking the wall itself. The whole process was crystal clear, well-organized, and very easy to navigate even on my first visit. It made my entire day completely stress-free.

What to know before visiting Beijing

Best things to do in Beijing through the year

Beijing’s top draws on Klook are theme parks and guided tours, followed by museums and historical sites, with activity levels peaking around March and dipping in July. Expect booking demand to ramp up through spring and to be quieter in mid-summer, with steadier interest again into late autumn and winter.

What suits different travellers visiting Beijing

Families will find theme parks and tours especially appealing — theme parks offer the widest range of options from entry-level to premium experiences, while tours help cover major sights efficiently. Couples often prefer museums and historical sites for a more relaxed, culture-focused pace. Solo travellers or small groups can pick up guided tours or cable-car experiences easily, which suit flexible itineraries and exploration on foot.

What travellers book ahead

Most visitors keep plans flexible in Beijing, since the typical stay pattern leans short; many activities can be arranged a day or two before, though earlier planners tend to book around three weeks ahead and that matters most in March. If you’re visiting in the peak month of March, it’s wise to lock in popular experiences sooner rather than later.

How categories compare on price and audience

Historical sites are the easiest way in on a budget, sitting at the lower end of the price range and suiting culture-focused visitors. Museums and cable cars occupy the mid-range and appeal to couples and curious solo travellers. Theme parks are the priciest on average and offer the widest spread of prices, making them a fit for families and anyone after either value entry-level options or higher-end experiences.
