Beijing Day trips

was a great day, our guide was super helpful and made good suggestions on what to do first so we don’t have to wait in lines ect, the tabbogan was soooo much fun, it was super crowded and very busy but still definitely worth going, lunch buffet was actually really nice but there are restaurants if you wanted to get your own lunch

The guide, Linda, was organized and constantly aware of not losing the group, giving us enough time for the entire group to arrive at each stop before offering her recounting on the significance of each building, relic or historical artifact. She spoke clearly and coherently, adding a touch of humour, always with a smile. The tour was well paced, not too hectic, despite the scale and depth of what was covered. Definitely worth your money!

Really enjoyed the whole tour experience, as our guide Allen was super cheerful despite us having to go through the tour on one of the hotter days in Beijing. Gotten really nice pictures and recommendations in the Forbidden City as well. Side note, please come well prepared with good walking shoes, sunscreen, cap/umbrella if you’re intending to do this tour during summer months as you’d spend at least 30 minutes going through the security check under the sun.

I found this tour on Klook, and our guide that day was Mr. Kevin. I traveled with my husband and our two young children, and our whole family had a wonderful experience. The schedule worked very well for our family, and the whole trip was well organized. We had enough time to explore both the east and west sides of the Mutianyu Great Wall. We also got to experience both the cable car and the toboggan, which the kids really enjoyed. We were also lucky with the weather. It was sunny but not too hot, so it was very comfortable for walking around. Both of our children had a great time. The lunch included in the tour was also very good. We heard that the company had carefully adjusted the menu, and it really worked well for both Asian and Western tastes. Mr. Kevin speaks English very well. He was friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout the trip. His explanations and instructions were clear and easy to understand. The price was also very reasonable for the overall experience.

It is great to have Susie as our tour guide. She is very organized and gave instructions properly. She communicated in chinese and English and the tour was implemented seamlessly. She is very proficient in both languages. She even went the extra mile to offer us some drinks at a very reasonable price in case some of us did not bring enough water..

Yuly was an amazing guide. tour was well organised, helped us book additional activities and was very clear on instruction for all guests to understand. The history stores shared were very well articulated and engaging by Yuly. One of the best tours, a must for anyone travelling to Beijing! Thank you Yuly!!

Our tour guide Michael was very accommodating and knowledgeable! The Mutianyu Great Wall is well worth the visit! Our family took both the cable car round trip and the chair lift and toboggan to see different stations. What a wonderful experience!

it was a great experience, tiring but good to know history of long long time ago. Suggestion to come during cooling season to enjoy it better as it’s not so hot. wear comfortable shoe too as a lot of walking

We are a father and elementary school daughter from South Korea who participated in the September 26th tour. We met our guide, Wendy Yang, and received such kind and detailed explanations. Above all, we were grateful and impressed by her warm and responsible attitude! ☆☆☆☆☆ 1. She always sent emails ahead of anticipated situations, and on-site she kept us updated and led the way via WeChat in advance, which made things extremely convenient☆ 2. Even though the members of the tour bus had chosen different options, it was wonderful to see how she cared for and looked after each and every person☆ 3. Because she explained the traditional boats so well, we rode one, and that swaying feeling of a wooden boat rowed by hand on the water was just like traveling back a thousand years in time☆ 4. Even though we went with a young daughter and could not speak Chinese and were not fluent in English, she explained things two or three times so we could fully understand. Thanks to that, I think we were able to give our beloved daughter a once-in-a-lifetime beautiful memory☆ 5. When she checked that everyone was on the return bus, counted the heads again, and I saw her relieved expression confirming that we had safely arrived, she looked much more exhausted than in the morning, which showed how much care and attention the guide put into the entire day. Thank you so much☆ Lastly, while this job might be a daily routine for the guide, for us tourists, this is a once-in-a-lifetime moment.
