Beijing Multi-day tours

The whole tour experience was very satisfactory. The customization service was responsive and flexible, and the guide 勇金 was knowledgeable and hospitable throughout my trip. This is my second time using the customization service, and will definitely not be my last!

This 6-day in-depth Beijing tour is absolutely perfect, with highlights including the Palace Museum (Forbidden City) and Old Summer Palace. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and patient, sharing vivid stories of Ming and Qing royal history and exquisite architectural details when we visited the Forbidden City. The grand vermilion walls and golden glazed roofs left us speechless. We had plenty of time at the Old Summer Palace: we strolled along the peaceful Fuhai Lake with willow reflections, and paused by the ruins of Western Palaces to reflect on profound history, blending stunning natural scenery with valuable historical lessons. The itinerary was well-paced, accommodation clean and tidy, and private transfers were hassle-free with no forced shopping. It’s an immersive journey through thousands of years of Chinese civilization, highly recommended to all travelers!

While not all stalls were open during my visit, the experience was still memorable. The Night Great Wall is spectacular, offering a stunning view of Gubei illuminated below. To top it off, the hot springs are clean and refreshing. Tour Guide ( GuoJia)is friendly and helpful.

Our 2-day Beijing tour was very well organized and we had such a great time! Thank you Klook! Every communication prior to and throughout the 2-day itinerary was excellent! She employs good techniques to keep us tight as a group, made us feel safe, communicates very clearly and is highly knowledgeable about the attractions we visited. Her interpersonal skills was also simply excellent! Similarly, our guide for the second day, Murphy was no less capable! He was patient, helpful and open to suggestions from the group. My family was very fortunate to experience the tour alongside people from many different nationalities and my kids had such a great time interacting with them. My family of four would like to thank the tour organiser Travel China Guide for giving us a wonderful and memorable 2-day tour of Beijing!

We booked this tour one week before our trip and are so glad we did. Our tour guide - Sherry was an absolute gem 💎 in every way. She knew so much of the history of each historical site we visited, pointing out obscure artefact details and relating them to Chinese idioms and cultural superstitions. She always made sure we had enough time to take ample photos and often offered to step in to help us take group shots. We visited Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, The Ming Tombs, Drum & Bell Towers and the Great Wall - and we had an absolute blast in each one. Blessed with good weather and Sherry's kind motherly care, we really developed a fondness and respect for China's ancient history and culture. We can't wait to be back!

Our tour guide for this Beijing trip, Guide Xie, was truly sincere, helpful, and provided detailed explanations. He spoke eloquently about historical allusions, worked diligently, and offered excellent service. I'm grateful to have met such a wonderful person on this trip, which left me with a beautiful impression of Beijing.

I had an enjoyable tour experience with Andy (tour guide) and Mr Qu (driver). They were punctual and were always friendly. Andy is a knowledgeable guide who has a great sense of humour. The lunches were delicious, and one of the best things is having a vehicle all to your own group. On a whole, this is a good private tour option for those travelling as a family or with seniors.

The hotel was acceptable, but this tour group was from mainland China, and the tour guide's professionalism needs improvement. They didn't consider the needs of the group members when getting on and off the bus (such as restroom breaks), and they weren't clear about the prices of optional activities, which led to misunderstandings among the group. When we got off the bus, the guide just kept walking ahead without ever looking back to check on us. Some of the elderly members couldn't keep up, and the guide walked very fast. It felt like we had to desperately chase after them every day. At the attractions, the guide just recited information without actually leading a tour. The meals were very poor, the quality was comparable to cheap two-dish rice meals, just not eaten on the street. Each day ended around 3:00 PM, and although it was advertised as a 5-day trip, it was effectively only 3 days. I paid $3280, and I estimate this tour would cost around $1000 in mainland China; the markup is significant. The only positive was the airport transfer, which was punctual and efficient. The tour guide's service was extremely poor.

The itinerary was really well thought-out, and our guide had such a unique style when talking us through everything. We got a brilliant insight into Chinese history and learned loads – I’d thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone!
