Beijing Mutianyu Great Wall + Forbidden City 2-Day Tour
- Niche Experience: Opt for the Mutianyu Great Wall (less crowded with beautiful scenery, a top choice for foreign tourists) instead of Badaling to avoid the crowds.
- Accommodation Highlights: Stay at a hotel at the foot of the Mutianyu Great Wall (recommended: "The Great Wall Hotel Mutianyu" or "The Schoolhouse at Mutianyu"), where you can watch the Great Wall sunset or sunrise.
What to expect
- Full coverage of the highlights: covering Beijing's most representative world cultural heritage (the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace) and city landmarks (Tiananmen Square).
- Off-peak tours: on the first day, stay away from the crowds in the city and enjoy the quiet scenery of Mutianyu Great Wall alone; on the second day, efficiently connect the city center attractions.
- Cultural immersion: Hutong tours go deep into the life of old Beijing, combined with the special accommodation of the Great Wall Hotel to enhance the quality of travel.

It's best to confirm the details in advance to avoid any mistakes! But generally, there shouldn't be any major issues.
Good to know
- Tickets for the Forbidden City must be purchased on the official website 7 days in advance. The Forbidden City is closed on Mondays, so there is a risk that you will not be able to buy tickets. If you cannot buy tickets, you will be replaced with Prince Gong's Mansion or rescheduled.
- Clothing suggestions: Comfortable sports shoes are required for the Great Wall and Hutong tours. There is no sunshade in the Forbidden City, so bring a sun hat. The Great Wall is cooler at night, so it is recommended to bring a jacket.
- Since the Forbidden City is closed on Mondays, the itinerary may need to be adjusted. Please understand.
