Weather is too hot, if not will be quite nice to walk around. a lot of things/animals to view. The aquarium is quite impressive.
The Zoo is very huge. Though, not so many animals still worth a visit. The Beijing aquarium is well-maintained. Seemless access.
I love how neat the zoo is and how the different segments are. clear and precise. the aquarium was good too it was an eye opener
It was a nice way to pass time after we visited literally everything else I'm Beijing.
It rained heavily today and many animals were not seen. But animal medicine is quite big, it's worth going
Visiting the Beijing Zoo and its massive Beijing Aquarium left me with the brightest impressions! It is the perfect place for an action-packed day out.
Quite a huge variety of animals but they were all separated in individual cages. Would be better if they were all together in 1 cage. Good to experience if you have any young children interested in animals.
The zoo has many pandas! And the ticket costs 5 yuan extra. At this price, the zoo is immense but has different rest areas.

Guide

  • Beijing Zoo is one of the larger urban zoos in China with a relatively wide variety of animals.
  • It features precious animals native to China such as giant pandas, golden snub-nosed monkeys, and Northeast China tigers, as well as representative animals from all over the world such as African chimpanzees and Australian kangaroos.
  • Inside Beijing Zoo, there is also a popular science hall that holds weekend animal classes specifically for preschool children.
  • You cannot miss the Lion and Tiger Mountain at Beijing Zoo. In past decades, most commemorative photos taken by Chinese people used the Lion and Tiger Mountain as a background; come here to feel the endless vitality of living creatures.

Beijing Zoo is located at Xizhimenwai Avenue, Xicheng District, Beijing. It is the earliest opened and most animal-diverse zoo in China, with a history of over a hundred years. The biggest advantage of Beijing Zoo lies in its excellent geographical location and convenient transportation. Situated in the core area of downtown Beijing, visitors can choose to take Metro Line 4, get off at Beijing Zoo Station, and exit directly to the South Gate of the zoo. The transportation is extremely convenient, eliminating the need to spend a lot of time traveling back and forth to the suburbs, making it an ideal choice for experiencing and getting close to animals.
