Things to do in Kanazawa

White Ring Tour group has a superstar team!This is my second time visiting the same listed destinations except from a different departure city and the experience this time round was a 5 star! Both guides were super informative about each destination and they took great care with sharing tidbits of information that are very helpful. The lunch was truly an authentic experience and very exclusive to the tour group. Size of the tour group was a comfortable number and seats on the bus are actually assigned which made things very organized and orderly. Plenty of time assigned for self-exploration. Highly recommended and will join any tour organized by the White Ring group!

We had the most amazing guide for this tour, Yasushi, who made the day so enjoyable and relaxing. He gave us great and valuable information on the bus so we could have as much time to ourselves in Shirakawa-go once we arrived. His local food recommendations were spot on, some of the best food we have had. The gardens were beautiful and the craft sessions were a lot of fun and something a bit different and special to add to our trip. Highly recommend this tour.

I had an absolutely brilliant time during this tour! Our tour guide was very insightful, knowledgeable, and knew the locals well! We were able to try some local handmade sweets as well as warm tea for free, while searching for all the little kittens around Inami! Stunning history and views. I'd highly recommend. The transfer for me heading from Kanazawa to Takayama was incredibly easy. They just took my bags to the other bus for me, I didnt have to lift a finger! I'd say the only con for me is booking with Klook, you annoyingly can't just book one ticket so I had to buy 1 adult and 1 child ticket even though it was just me :( so for any solo travellers reading this I'd recommend booking directly with the tour guide company instead for a better deal!

There were many beautiful kimono designs to choose from, and the hair styling option was totally worth it—simple but elegant, perfect for photos around the city. The location was convenient and close to popular sightseeing spots, making it easy to start exploring immediately after getting dressed. Overall, the service, quality, and experience were excellent. It is a great pass. It includes all the main attrations in Kanazawa such as Kenrokuen Garden, Kanazawa Castle, 21st Museum, Samurai House, etc. Definitely recommended to buy

Guide was Ricky and he was helpful and generous with recommendations on what to look out and what local food to eat. We reached all 3 places on time and there was sufficient free time to explore around. The trip also includes a night stay at a hotel at Kanazawa, thank you!
