Things to do in Sendai

The bus tour to Zao Fox Village and Ginzan Onsen was such a fun day. The foxes were super cute, and Ginzan Onsen visit was a bit fast but understandable given the traffic on the way home.

This was my first time joining a Klook tour alone, and I had a very good experience. The itinerary was well-paced with ample time. You can see many cute foxes at the Fox Village. Although the smell is a bit strong, they are still adorable. You can also buy feed to feed them at your own expense. Unfortunately, I couldn't make the timing to participate in the fox-holding session. Ginzan Onsen is quaint and charming. The autumn foliage and waterfall scenery were stunning. The tour guide, Ms. Cheng, was very enthusiastic and introduced the background culture/popular souvenirs, etc., of Sendai City and the attractions we visited. The tour bus was also very comfortable, and the itinerary was well-arranged. Highly recommended! 👍🏻

Our group of 4 joined this tour, and unexpectedly, a 7-seater vehicle was arranged for the 4 of us, making the entire trip feel like a private charter. The tour guide was excellent, giving us plenty of time to explore. Great value for the price.

We participated on October 20th with a group of 7 people. Our tour guide was Ms. Wei, and we had a very new mid-sized bus. Our driver, Mr. Iwabuchi from Japan, was a very professional driver. In the morning, we took the Zao Ropeway, and in the afternoon, we went to Ginzan Onsen. There were scheduled restroom breaks along the way. Due to time constraints, lunch was changed to the Yamagata Prefectural Tourist Center, which was clearly explained in advance via e-mail, which was great. Also, Ms. Wei helped everyone order during lunch, providing excellent service. It was a wonderful day trip, and my family was very satisfied.

we got Mr. Shi (史) as our driver for the day trip. he arrived at our hotel 10mins before our departure time, drives safely throughout our trip and is always ready whenever we wants to depart our location. Though weather is not in our favor today (continuous rain), he gave some other suggestions that we could do as we had to give up one of the outdoor sightseeing places. car is comforty and clean. Overall, we have a good trip

Despite the forecast for rain, the weather at both sites remained mostly dry, and we were incredibly lucky to witness the peak of the autumn foliage at two stunning locations. Because the leaves were wet, their colors appeared even more vivid. We also saw rainbows, twice on the way to Naruko-kyo and at the gorge itself. Our guide, Shun-san, was friendly and very knowledgeable. He spoke not only about the history and geography of the area, but also shared great tips on things to do and places to eat in Sendai. He even told us about a Dragon Quest event and a Pokémon shop—his stories were very interesting ! Overall, the tour was fantastic and it has become one of our most memorable trips! ありがとうございました！

The guide was Japanese, but they explained everything carefully in Chinese and even provided Chinese brochures, which made everything very easy to understand and reassuring. There were only six participants that day, so moving around and taking photos was smooth, and we were able to tour at a relaxed pace, which was great. None of the spots we visited were too touristy; they had a hidden gem-like, calm atmosphere, with fewer crowds, so we could quietly enjoy the scenery. It was late autumn, but the autumn leaves were at their peak, and the colorful trees and valley scenery were very beautiful, making it an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to efficiently explore the Sendai area.

We really loved the temple and Ginza Onsen. We could have skipped stopping at the gas station. That time would have been very useful to have at Ginza Onsen, considering the beautiful adventure in the woods behind the town. It deserved at least an extra hour to be able to do everything calmly.

Easy exchange of ticket. just follow the instructions and all is done at the Manual ticket counter. show times (4x different shows) can be found on the aquarium website. Aquarium is not big, but displays are compact. you can probably finish the place in 3/4 days if you factor in the show times. enjoyed my visit to the aquarium
