Xinjiang

I've returned from my 10-day trip to Xinjiang. I booked my own flights but had no idea about the itinerary, so I contacted Klook. They responded very quickly. After the customer service representative asked about my general requirements, they helped me create an itinerary. I was satisfied with the accommodations they arranged. Before departure, the concierge arranged for our driver, Master Liu. Master Liu took great care of us throughout the trip, helping us with any needs we had. He also paid attention to the surroundings while driving, and whenever he saw a beautiful view, he would let us stop to take photos. The concierge also reminded us each night about the next day's itinerary and what to pay attention to. They also monitored local weather and traffic conditions. When bad weather was anticipated, they discussed it with us in advance and suggested changes to the itinerary, ultimately helping us avoid heavy snow and road closures on the Duku Highway. 👍🏻

Our first trip to Ili, Xinjiang, an eight-day, seven-night journey, has come to a perfect end. The scenery along the way was absolutely stunning, and the entire experience was fantastic. I sincerely thank Klook's travel consultant for planning the trip, and our tour leader Liu Zhou and concierge Yu Shan for their thoughtful care throughout! Our tour leader, Liu Zhou, was professional and meticulous. At each scenic spot, he provided detailed explanations of the local customs and culture. He even proactively took us to lesser-known attractions not on our itinerary, which led to many wonderful surprises. Every day, he prepared fresh fruit, including sweet and soft 'Old Man' melons, pre-cut and distributed to everyone – such heartwarming attention to detail. The distances between attractions in Xinjiang are long, with many winding mountain roads. Liu Zhou's driving skills were steady and experienced, earning a thousand thumbs up! We never felt tired even during long drives, and we felt completely safe the entire time. Our online concierge, Yu Shan, was also very responsible, providing daily updates on the next day's itinerary in advance and carefully reminding us about important travel considerations like clothing, sun protection, and road conditions. Both of them provided attentive companionship throughout the trip, making it worry-free and pleasant. This Ili trip was comfortable and unforgettable, and I highly recommend it!

Denne rejseoplevelse overgik virkelig mine forventninger! Chaufføren var professionel og hensynsfuld hele vejen igennem, kørte stabilt, kendte ruten og sørgede for en jævn og sikker kørsel. Udover at hente og bringe til tiden og yde fremragende service, hjalp han også aktivt med bagagen og mindede os om vigtige ting, som et omhyggeligt og pålideligt familiemedlem. Undervejs forklarede han tålmodigt og besvarede alle spørgsmål, planlagde turen fornuftigt uden at stresse, hvilket gjorde hele rejsen afslappende og behagelig. Han var varm og oprigtig, omhyggelig og ansvarlig – absolut en perfekt rejseleder! Kan varmt anbefales, jeg vil helt sikkert vælge ham igen næste gang!

This tour is a good introduction to North Xinjiang for first-time visitors. However, be prepared for long hours on the road. That said, the overall experience depends a lot on the driver-guide. I didn't appreciate being directed to expensive restaurants instead of being given a choice. On my last day, the airport driver insisted I leave the hotel early because of traffic but there was none. I arrived at the airport 3.5 hours before my flight, apparently because the driver had another booking. Overall, the scenery made the trip worthwhile, but I hope the company gives guests more flexibility and puts customers' convenience first.

I highly recommend this private tour, in 9 days we were able to appreciate the beauty of Xinjiang. I am still processing how unreal the places are. Truly grateful also to the most accomodating and patient driver, Mr.Lee, despite the language barrier we felt very taken care of by him.

Vi var så heldige at møde en fantastisk chauffør, bror Yang, også kendt som bror Aubergine. Han er en dygtig og stabil chauffør, der planlægger ruterne fornuftigt for at spare tid. Our trip to Northern Xinjiang was truly wonderful and relaxing! I have to give a big shout-out to Master Ma Xiaole and our travel butler, Xiao Fu; both of them were incredibly reliable and thoughtful! Master Xiaole took such meticulous care of us throughout the journey. He always proactively helped us with our luggage when getting in and out of the car, no matter how much we had. He's such a great person. At every hotel, he would specifically help us check the room's facilities to ensure everything was in order before letting us settle in. His attention to detail was incredible, making us feel completely safe and secure! Xiaole also has a fantastic personality—he's cheerful and enthusiastic. We had so much fun chatting and laughing along the way; there was never an awkward or dull moment. He was also incredibly kind and helped us take many beautiful photos. At each location, he recommended many delicious local eateries and fun places that even locals frequent! I also have to commend our travel butler, Xiao Fu; she was truly meticulous and warm-hearted! She constantly sent us various practical travel tips throughout the trip, always checking in on us. She would even remind us in advance about local temperature changes so we could adjust our clothing accordingly, which was incredibly thoughtful. When we encountered issues with our accommodation during the trip, Xiao Fu responded very quickly. She immediately helped us contact the local accommodation, patiently communicated and understood the situation, and handled everything promptly and securely. She was always thinking of us! We were so lucky to have met Master Xiaole and the thoughtful butler Xiao Fu on this trip. We felt so relaxed and happy! For our next grassland adventure, I'll definitely be looking to travel with them again in Northern Xinjiang!

We truly appreciate the travel agency's service in Southern Xinjiang. Our guide, Xiao Hui, was incredibly attentive, keeping us updated daily on our itinerary and important details via WeChat. Our driver, Ya Dong, was excellent; he was completely accommodating to our frequent requests to stop for photos, even though it affected his schedule and rest time, and he never complained. He also took us to try delicious and affordable local food. The airport transfer driver, Xiao Huang, was very punctual and engaging. The only area for improvement was the late communication regarding the itinerary contact person. We only received notification from Southern Xinjiang two days before departure. I tried to contact Klook, but it was difficult to find their contact information. It would be much better to receive this information a week before departure, as it allows for proper planning. Overall, I would recommend this tour to friends. All the attractions we visited were absolutely stunning.

Vores guide, Yang Wei, var fantastisk! Utrolig! Super god!!! Han hjalp os med at bære al vores rodede bagage, kørte meget stabilt, så vi ikke følte os utilpasse undervejs, tog os med til rene toiletter, og ud over den planlagte rute fortalte han os, hvor der var færre mennesker og smukkere udsigter. Han tog også nogle meget flotte billeder af os. Da han vidste, at vi kom fra Guangdong, justerede han stille og roligt musiklisten til at være mere ungdommelig og kantonesisk. På den sidste dag huskede han endda vores præference for kaffe og bød os på kaffe (så rørende TUT) og drikkevarer! Han tog sig af os på en diskret og omsorgsfuld måde hele vejen, vi er virkelig, virkelig, virkelig taknemmelige! Den overordnede rejseplan var rimelig, og alle de nævnte punkter i ordren blev opfyldt. Der var en fejl med indkvarteringen en enkelt nat, som det lokale rejsebureau havde lavet, men de tilbød kompensation. Vi håber, at den fremtidige koordinering vil være mere omhyggelig.
