Fantastic 5.0
lovely and seamless experience!! would recommend for groups of friends or familiy. Really appreciated Maggie who helped us greatly to find alternatives to miss the peak crowds or try local produce like peach or chestnuts! we were meant to take the toppangan but to miss some crowd we took the cable car instead which was still fun! really recommend this tour

Fantastic 5.0
The guide, Linda, was organized and constantly aware of not losing the group, giving us enough time for the entire group to arrive at each stop before offering her recounting on the significance of each building, relic or historical artifact. She spoke clearly and coherently, adding a touch of humour, always with a smile. The tour was well paced, not too hectic, despite the scale and depth of what was covered. Definitely worth your money!

Fantastic 5.0
Just scan your passport upon arrival since your ticket is already linked to it. I HIGHLY recommend purchasing the express pass. We went there on a normal Monday and it was really crowded. Got 1 ride we need to queue for 40 mins even if we got express pass.

I had a really great time! I booked the Starry Night ticket, which included a drink and a game where I won a souvenir! The park isn't very big, but it's very pretty, and the atmosphere is magical!

Fantastic 5.0
Peter was an excellent guide throughout the tour of the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park. The weather during the visit was really not easy, but thanks to Peter's very interesting anecdotes and stories, the tour went well and I really enjoyed it!!

The Summer Palace is a beautiful and fascinating place to visit in Beijing, China. The stunning gardens, scenic lake, and traditional Chinese architecture make it a memorable experience. The place is rich in history and offers a glimpse into China's imperial past. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a must-visit destination for anyone exploring Beijing!

Fantastic 5.0
I bought tickets from Klook to Temple of Heaven on 14 Oct26. We enter without any problems using our passports. 2 of us seniors enter free , no need to buy tickets. We only bought 2 adults from Klook for our 2 youngsters. It was lovely to see so many tourists wearing traditional clothes and pose for photos here. At one of the gate, you see display of 2 children among the beautiful fresh , real flowers. This is the time of the year to enjoy flowers and cool weather. Worth the trip and thanks for the ease of booking on Klook.

Fantastic 5.0
I came to the Great Wall sure I'd get lost, as I do in my own kitchen. Impossible. Ángela was with me the whole time: funny, sharp, noticing everything, messaging me before I even knew I was lost. She told me where to start and, more importantly, where to finish, which on a wall 21,000 km long is no small detail. My cousin did it alone in 1987 and we're still waiting for him. Thanks to Ángela, I came back. Great tour: ten out of ten, and I'd give eleven if the Chinese allowed it. number 4 be happy! 😄

Quick responses from Klook. Worth for the price. I can literally explore both the north and south sides of the wall. I took the cable car near the high speed rail station, hiked downhill and climbed up to the south, took the tram back down.

What to know before visiting Beijing

What to expect in Beijing

The things-to-do catalogue in Beijing is led by Theme parks, then Tours, Museums, Historical sites and Cable cars, giving a mix that suits families, culture seekers and short sightseeing trips. That spread means you can pick budget-friendly historical visits or pay more for large-scale theme-park days and guided tours. Demand peaks in March and eases to its quietest in July, so popular experiences are busiest in March and much quieter in July. Expect similar availability within the same type of activity across the year, with the biggest crowds in March.

Choosing what to book here

The main choice is whether you prioritise budget or a wider range of experiences — Theme parks offer the widest range, with entry-level options around USD 62 and upper-end tickets near USD 96, so they suit travellers who want everything from basic admission to premium experiences. For straightforward value, Historical sites are the most affordable way in, with a typical price of USD 9, and they’re a good gap-filler between pricier activities.

If you prefer consistency and little variance in what you pay, Tours have a narrower band and typically cost around USD 39, while mid-range options like Museums sit between entry-level and premium experiences where inclusions can vary the most.

When travellers typically book

Most travellers book about 8 days ahead, while the earliest planners book around 19 days out. Plan on booking roughly one to four weeks ahead for busy periods, and that cushion matters most in March when demand peaks.

How Beijing prices compare

The table below shows how the city's top activity categories compare on price so you can place a budget before you choose.

Category Typical Price Usual Range
Theme parks USD 77 USD 62 – 96
Tours USD 39 USD 21 – 48
Museums USD 18 USD 12 – 26
Historical sites USD 9 USD 6 – 12
Cable cars USD 26 USD 9 – 42

Typical price is the median paid on Klook; the usual range covers the middle half of bookings, so cheaper and pricier options exist outside it; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, August 2025 – July 2026.
