A solitary tree standing in the hills, combined with the vast countryside and the scenery of Mount Tokachi, showcases Hokkaido's representative "sense of the land" landscape.
[Shikisai no Oka (Shikisai Hill)]
During spring and summer, it transforms into a world of colorful flower seas. From April to May, you can enjoy the hills and distant mountains after the snow melts; From June, tulips and various flowers bloom one after another; July to August brings the most dreamlike season, with flower seas of lavender, sunflowers, and more intertwining to form a rainbow-like landscape, making it Hokkaido’s most representative summer scenery. *If the flower conditions are not ideal, the itinerary will be changed to a stroll around Biei Station.
[Shiragane Falls (White Beard Falls)]
In summer, it is surrounded by lush green forests, with the white waterfall forming a stark contrast with the dreamy blue stream.
[Ningle Terrace]
A fairy tale village located next to the New Furano Prince Hotel, consisting of 15 unique wooden cabins selling handicrafts, coffee, and limited edition goods. In spring and summer, it is surrounded by lush green forests, with sunlight filtering through the forest paths, creating a fresh and healing atmosphere, as if stepping into a forest fairy tale world.

[Christmas Tree]
In autumn and winter, the Christmas tree is surrounded by golden hills and pure white snowfields. The solitary tree stands quietly in the center of the vast land, full of Hokkaido’s unique romantic and tranquil atmosphere. *Depending on the weather and road conditions on the day, it may be viewed from the car without getting off. If it is not possible to visit, the itinerary will be changed to Ken & Mary Tree.
[Shikisai no Oka (Shikisai Hill)]
From September to October, you can enjoy the golden farmlands and autumn hill scenery; after November, white snow covers the entire hill, transforming it into a vast snowfield. During winter, you can also experience snow activities such as snowmobiling and sledding at your own expense. *Snowmobiling is available from mid-to-late December. 30 minutes for a single rider is 15,000 JPY, and for two riders is 20,000 JPY. Reservations can be made on-site with the assistance of the guide. During closure, the itinerary will be changed to Chiyoda Farm. *If snow conditions are not ideal, the itinerary will be changed to a stroll around Biei Station.
[Shiragane Falls (White Beard Falls)]
In winter, the area around the waterfall is covered with white snow and frost. The clear blue stream, icy trees, and white steam from the hot springs intertwine to create a dreamy landscape, breathtaking and captivating as if time has stood still.
[Ningle Terrace]
The most popular fairy tale attraction in winter. White snow covers the forest and cabins, illuminated by warm lights, creating a snow country fairy tale world. Strolling along the wooden boardwalk, you can feel the quiet and romantic atmosphere of a winter night. *In case of unforeseen circumstances preventing a visit to Ningle Terrace, the itinerary will be changed to Aoiike (Blue Pond) (approx. 30 minutes).

Shikisai no Oka was absolutely stunning — the vast white landscape felt like a winter wonderland. The snowmobile ride was definitely a highlight! It was such a thrilling and fun experience gliding across the snowy fields. Seeing the iconic Christmas Tree no Ki in person was surreal. Standing alone in the middle of a snow-covered field, it looked straight out of a postcard. Shirahige Falls was breathtaking, especially with the contrast of the blue water against the white snow — truly a magical sight during winter. We ended the tour at Ningle Terrace, which felt like a little overated and most of the shops are closed. We weren’t able to see it at night or during dawn as we only have 30min stay in the area and we arrived 330pm. Overall, the tour was well-organized, scenic, and unforgettable — a perfect winter experience in Hokkaido!
Our Ningle Terrace tour may have been short, but it was definitely sweet and memorable! The place feels like a real-life winter storybook tiny wooden cabins glowing in the snow, cozy vibes everywhere, and perfect spots for photos. We also tried the snowmobile experience for 30 minutes, and it was absolutely FUN! ❄️🔥 It’s not included in the package, but totally worth it. Rates were ¥20,000 for double ride and ¥15,000 for single ride. Such an adrenaline rush and a highlight of the trip! The famous lone Christmas tree near Furano was also beautiful and peaceful, simple but very picturesque against the snowy background. Short time, big memories. Would definitely recommend adding this stop to your Hokkaido itinerary! 🌨️🎄
The tour was very nice. It was a great experience for someone like me who comes from a non-winter country. It’s something I was able to experience in my life. Even though I traveled alone and didn’t know anyone, I still enjoyed it a lot. Special thanks to our tour guide—I forgot the name, but he was very friendly. You can really see that he finds ways to help you experience what you want. So far, he is the most approachable and friendliest guide I’ve had among all the tours I joined. Keep it up and always stay the same. It was a great experience to try.
Today I joined the Furano day trip from Sapporo, and I must give our tour guide Oliver a big thumbs up! Oliver's professionalism and friendliness are both 100%. From the beginning of the gathering, he carefully helped us check the information, and explained the various attractions in three languages throughout the journey, very clearly. He not only made the characteristics and background stories of the various attractions in Biei vivid and interesting, but also thoughtfully reminded us of the return time and place. We took beautiful photos at the Lonely Christmas Tree and Shikisai-no-oka, and also rode snowmobiles, which was so much fun! We experienced a fairy-tale atmosphere at the Forest Fairy Terrace, and also admired the stunning natural scenery at Shirahige Falls. The HERB GARDEN buffet lunch was also great, with a rich variety and delicious food. Oliver took care of everyone's needs throughout the trip, proactively helped us take photos, and was always able to help us solve problems in the first time, making the whole journey particularly safe and happy. This travel experience really exceeded expectations, I highly recommend everyone to choose this tour, and be sure to look for Oliver as your tour guide!

Great tour, very well organized from start to finish. Some of the places we visited felt truly magical, like something straight out of a fairy tale. Special thanks and appreciation to our tour guide, Zhouzheng, and the bus driver. Zhouzheng was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and even took fantastic photos for us , which made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommended! The buffet lunch was great and good value for money.
Our tour guide Yuan Zhenxiang was very accommodating and made sure of everyone’s safety was a priority. We were informed that Shikosai was closed during our scheduled date so we have to change a bit of plan which was ok. This tour especially the Lonely Christmas Tree was my bucketlist and I am so happy this was fulfilled. Highly recommended.
Since the tour only allowed us to view the Christmas tree from the bus, I think it would be better to replace it with another tree spot, especially since there are so many famous trees in the area. Additionally, it would have been great to visit the zoo as we skipped the Chirstmas tree, since we paid for the experience based on the stated itinerary. While it was nice to arrive early and avoid the crowds from other tours, I do wish we had visited Ningle Terrace a bit later to enjoy the surroundings with the lights on. On a positive note, we were lucky enough to experience heavy snowfall throughout the day, even in early March. Catherine was very helpful and kind, and overall, the trip was definitely worth it. However, I would suggest reconsidering the itinerary to offer a better experience, perhaps by replacing the Christmas tree viewing from the bus with something else.
This was our first snowfall, and it was an incredible learning experience, filled with wonder and joy! We explored the textures of the snow and watched it gently fall. Every activity was a delightful discovery, creating memories we will cherish.
It’s incredible experience! I choose this tour because it differs from the others since there is no zoo! The guide is very nice and very friendly, he can speak many languages and also give us many advices on what to buy, what to do during the trip. The time was enough in all places we visit! The buffet is really good and I had the best time in Hokkaido! Really really recommend!

Muchangqiand Ranch* From mid-to-late December, you can enjoy sledding, snow banana boating, and snow biking at Shikisai no Oka at your own expense. Prices are as shown on the Shikisai no Oka website.
- If you are interested in participating in a snowmobile experience, please note the following information: This activity is an optional tour and requires cash payment. Cost description: 30-minute experience Single rider: 15,000 JPY Double rider: 20,000 JPY If you wish to participate, please inform your guide on the day, and the guide will assist you with the reservation. Alternative attraction if Shikisai no Oka is inaccessible: qia (approx. 30 minutes stay)
- Infants under 2 years old are free and will not be provided with a seat. If a child of infant age requires a seat, an adult fare must be paid. If the actual number of participants does not match the number in the order and we are not informed in advance, leading to insufficient seating, passengers must reduce their numbers or reschedule. No refunds will be given for reduced numbers, and rescheduling fees will be charged separately.
- This activity requires a minimum of 6 participants to form a group. If the minimum number of participants is not met, you will be offered a reschedule or a full refund.
- Please adhere to the scheduled itinerary time. If you are late, it will be considered an automatic cancellation of the trip, and the fees paid will not be refunded.
- Due to the significant impact of weather on winter traffic, our company will not be responsible for any subsequent losses caused by delayed arrivals due to force majeure factors such as traffic jams. Please be aware of this.
- This tour duration: approximately 10 hours. However, in winter, due to snow, road closures, or traffic jams, the return travel time may be significantly extended.
- If it is not possible to reach the Christmas tree due to weather, traffic control, or safety considerations, we will go to the Ken & Marry tree instead. We appreciate your understanding.
- If you need to bring luggage (including baby strollers and wheelchairs, etc.), please inform us in advance by email so that we can properly arrange vehicle space to make your journey smoother and more comfortable. We will arrange the vehicle model based on the number of travelers. If the vehicle model confirmed 3-5 days before departure can accommodate luggage, for luggage space and loading/unloading arrangements, an additional handling fee and space reservation fee will be charged, 1500 JPY per item (cash only), to be paid to the guide before boarding.
- A travel notice will be sent to your email by 5 PM the day before departure. Please check your email (or spam folder) at that time. It will contain the guide's contact information for the day, license plate number, and detailed itinerary information. Thank you.
- Due to traffic congestion, facility maintenance, etc., the itinerary or stay time at each attraction may be adjusted. In winter, in special circumstances such as highway closures or restricted access to scenic areas, we will reduce or change the route, and no refunds will be given.
- Due to winter weather and road conditions, it is not recommended to arrange other itineraries or high-priced dinner reservations after returning on the same day. We will not be liable for any losses incurred.
- Alternative attraction if there are temporary circumstances preventing access to the Ningle Terrace: Blue Pond (approx. 30 minutes)
