We had a wonderful experience at Sarawak Cultural Village. Our tour guide, Jacky, was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. He guided us through each of the traditional Sarawak houses, sharing fascinating insights into their history, architecture, and unique cultural heritage. His engaging explanations made the visit both enjoyable and educational. We were warmly welcomed with a traditional cultural dance, which created a wonderful first impression. The stage performances were vibrant, entertaining, and showcased the rich diversity of Sarawak’s ethnic communities with great talent and energy. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kuching - it is an experience not to be missed!

Departing from Kuching city at 7:00 AM, a 30-40 minute drive will take you to the pier for Bako National Park. From the pier, a 10-15 minute boat ride will bring you to Bako National Park itself. Inside the park, you can see wildlife such as monkeys, wild boars, and venomous snakes up close. The tour starts at 7:00 AM and runs until 2:00 PM. The walking portion through the forest is quite long, so it might be challenging for the elderly or those with limited mobility. We recommend getting plenty of rest the day before joining the tour. Our tour guides are highly professional, providing detailed explanations and ample safety instructions to ensure a secure wildlife observation experience, so you can participate with peace of mind. While many visitors to Kuching also explore places like the Sarawak Cultural Village and Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, the highlight of Kuching is truly Bako National Park. Although it's not the cheapest option, it's an experience you absolutely shouldn't miss. Finally, be sure to bring mosquito repellent to avoid mosquito bites.

recommended to sign up for the tour. the tour package includes the return transfer from hotel within designated area to site, the admission ticket, and the return buggy ride within the park. the tour guide also gave useful tips.

Ang aming gabay na si Lucian ay ang pinakamahusay. Siya ay mainit at napakatalino. Ang tour at karanasan ay mahusay.

Ang aming gabay, si Din (hindi sigurado sa baybay), ay napakahusay at talagang nakatulong sa amin upang magkaroon ng pinakamagandang karanasan. Napakatalino niya at handang-handa sa bawat aspeto ng tour. Nakakita kami ng iba't ibang uri ng halaman at hayop, at natuto rin tungkol sa kapaligiran at kultura ng mga lokal na tao. Ang mga tuluyan at pagkain sa parke ay hindi magarbo ngunit komportable at sapat. Dapat lagyan ng screen ng parke ang likod na bahagi ng banyo sa mga cabin. Ang aming biyahe sa Bako ang pinakatuktok ng aming karanasan sa Sarawak.

Seeing semi-wild orangutans were the highlight of our trip. The viewing experience of these magnificent animals roaming free is unlike your traditional zoo. Our guide, Mr Mas, is superb at finding and spotting all the various species in the caves. He was extremely eager to explain the biodiversity and terrain in there. You can tell that he is genuinely passionate about animals and nature. The joy of having such a passionate guide is contagious. He got all of us excited and very naturally bonded us as a group. Highly recommend this tour if you are looking for a unique experience of Broneo’s nature.

Nag-join ako sa isang walking tour sa Kuching na pinamunuan ni Drika, at napakagaling at puno ng kaalaman ng karanasan ko! Nilakad namin ang lahat ng pangunahing heritage trail, at natutunan ang tungkol sa kasaysayan ng Sarawak, ang pamilya at pamumuno ng mga Brooke, pati na rin ang kabuuang lipunan at kultura ng Sarawak. Nagpahinga rin kami para sa kaunting tanghalian sa La Tanza Cafe, na naghahain ng satay at mga nakakapreskong inumin para lumamig mula sa mainit na panahon (magdala kayo ng sumbrero!!). Inirerekomenda ko ang walking tour na ito, at salamat kay Drika sa pagiging isang napakagaling at masayang tour guide!! 10/10 na inirerekomenda ko rin si Drika bilang tour guide!

The tour was well arranged and we managed to get a private car to ourselves since no other people. managed to spot crocodiles and the elusive irrawady dolphins in the morning cruise.

That was a well organised and very enjoyable tour. Billie, the guide, was quite knowledgeable and adjusted the itinerary and the food tasting to my needs. I learned a lot about kuching and the food and had a great time.
