Departing from Kuching city at 7:00 AM, a 30-40 minute drive will take you to the pier for Bako National Park. From the pier, a 10-15 minute boat ride will bring you to Bako National Park itself. Inside the park, you can see wildlife such as monkeys, wild boars, and venomous snakes up close. The tour starts at 7:00 AM and runs until 2:00 PM. The walking portion through the forest is quite long, so it might be challenging for the elderly or those with limited mobility. We recommend getting plenty of rest the day before joining the tour. Our tour guides are highly professional, providing detailed explanations and ample safety instructions to ensure a secure wildlife observation experience, so you can participate with peace of mind. While many visitors to Kuching also explore places like the Sarawak Cultural Village and Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, the highlight of Kuching is truly Bako National Park. Although it's not the cheapest option, it's an experience you absolutely shouldn't miss. Finally, be sure to bring mosquito repellent to avoid mosquito bites.

We had a wonderful experience at Sarawak Cultural Village. Our tour guide, Jacky, was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. He guided us through each of the traditional Sarawak houses, sharing fascinating insights into their history, architecture, and unique cultural heritage. His engaging explanations made the visit both enjoyable and educational. We were warmly welcomed with a traditional cultural dance, which created a wonderful first impression. The stage performances were vibrant, entertaining, and showcased the rich diversity of Sarawak’s ethnic communities with great talent and energy. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kuching - it is an experience not to be missed!

Went for a Kuching walking tour, guided by Drika and had a very insightful experience! We walked through all the main heritage trails, and learned about the history of Sarawak, the Brooke family and reign, as well as the overall society and culture of Sarawak. We also stopped for a little lunch at La Tanza Cafe, that served satay and refreshing drinks, to cool down from the hot weather (bring your hats!!). I would recommend this walking tour, and thank you to Drika for being such a knowledgeable and fun tour guide!! 10/10 would recommend Drika as a tour guide as well!

Again, we had the best experience in Sarawak. Went to the Fairy cave, wind cave which are both amazing. and spotted loooots of bats! Thanks to our amazing tour guide and driver Jacky. he really is the best!! Also a food connoiseur. went to lunch with him and he suggested all the must tries while in Sarawak, even for after the tour he suggested great restaurants and even local places we can go to eat. we had the best time, also our last stop was the Semeggoh wildlife and visited the Orangutans. Jacky knows what time do these apes go out eventhough there a 2 hour period of the feeding time, he knows what exactly the time is perfect to go when they are “all” out. Thank you again Jacky! When you go to Sarawak, it is a must to book tours from this company ooo haa and if you can request for Jacky. You will the best trip of your life as he will take care of you from picking you up to dropping you off! Thanks for the experience! we will always remember this ☺️

Fantasztikus élmény volt meglátogatni a Sarawak Kulturális Falut és a Semenggoh Vadvédelmi Központot, és idegenvezetőnk, Hanafie, igazán különlegessé tette a napot. Lekötő, informatív volt, és gondoskodott róla, hogy az egész családunk remekül érezze magát az elejétől a végéig. A nap fénypontja egyértelműen Semenggoh volt – hihetetlenül szerencsések voltunk, hogy láthattuk az orángutánokat előjönni, és egy egész órán át ott is maradtak! Lélegzetelállító látvány volt, és igazi élmény volt megfigyelni őket természetes élőhelyükön. A gyerekeim (12 és 14 évesek) mindkét helyszínt nagyon élvezték. A Kulturális Faluban a hagyományos házak felfedezése és az orángutánok közeli megfigyelése tökéletes keveréke volt a tanulásnak, a kultúrának és a természetnek az ő koruknak.

That was a well organised and very enjoyable tour. Billie, the guide, was quite knowledgeable and adjusted the itinerary and the food tasting to my needs. I learned a lot about kuching and the food and had a great time.

Idegenvezetőnk, Din (a név írásmódja kérdéses) kiemelkedő volt, és valóban segített abban, hogy a lehető legjobb élményben legyen részünk. Rendkívül tájékozott és felkészült volt a túra minden aspektusában. Sokféle növény- és állatvilágot láttunk, valamint megismerkedtünk a helyi emberek környezetével és kultúrájával. A szállás és az étel a parkban nem luxus, de kényelmes és megfelelő. A parknak be kellene hálóznia a kabinok hátsó fürdőszoba részét. A Bakóba tett utunk volt a szarawaki élményünk csúcspontja.

A túra jól szervezett volt, és sikerült egy privát autót szereznünk magunknak, mivel nem voltak mások. Krokodilokat és az elusive irrawaddy delfineket is láttunk a reggeli hajókiránduláson.
