Avresa från Kuching centrum klockan 07:00 och en bilresa på cirka 30–40 minuter tar dig till bryggan med båtar till Bako nationalpark. Från bryggan tar det ungefär 10–15 minuter med en liten båt för att nå nationalparken. Inne i parken kan du se vilda djur som apor, vildsvin och huggormar på nära håll. Turen börjar klockan 07:00 och pågår till 14:00. Eftersom det är en ganska lång vandring i skogen kan det vara ansträngande för äldre och personer med nedsatt rörlighet, så det rekommenderas att du vilar ordentligt dagen innan du delar i turen. Reseledaren är mycket professionell, ger detaljerade förklaringar och informerar noggrant om säkerhetsföreskrifter för att säkerställa att turen för att titta på vilda djur är säker, så du kan delta med ett lugnt sinne. När du kommer till Kuching besöker du ofta platser som kulturparken och Semenggoh, men höjdpunkten i Kuching är just Bako nationalpark. Även om priset inte är särskilt lågt är det en upplevelse du inte får missa. Slutligen, se till att ta med insektsmedel så att du inte blir biten av myggor.

We had a wonderful experience at Sarawak Cultural Village. Our tour guide, Jacky, was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. He guided us through each of the traditional Sarawak houses, sharing fascinating insights into their history, architecture, and unique cultural heritage. His engaging explanations made the visit both enjoyable and educational. We were warmly welcomed with a traditional cultural dance, which created a wonderful first impression. The stage performances were vibrant, entertaining, and showcased the rich diversity of Sarawak’s ethnic communities with great talent and energy. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kuching - it is an experience not to be missed!

Went for a Kuching walking tour, guided by Drika and had a very insightful experience! We walked through all the main heritage trails, and learned about the history of Sarawak, the Brooke family and reign, as well as the overall society and culture of Sarawak. We also stopped for a little lunch at La Tanza Cafe, that served satay and refreshing drinks, to cool down from the hot weather (bring your hats!!). I would recommend this walking tour, and thank you to Drika for being such a knowledgeable and fun tour guide!! 10/10 would recommend Drika as a tour guide as well!

Again, we had the best experience in Sarawak. Went to the Fairy cave, wind cave which are both amazing. and spotted loooots of bats! Thanks to our amazing tour guide and driver Jacky. he really is the best!! Also a food connoiseur. went to lunch with him and he suggested all the must tries while in Sarawak, even for after the tour he suggested great restaurants and even local places we can go to eat. we had the best time, also our last stop was the Semeggoh wildlife and visited the Orangutans. Jacky knows what time do these apes go out eventhough there a 2 hour period of the feeding time, he knows what exactly the time is perfect to go when they are “all” out. Thank you again Jacky! When you go to Sarawak, it is a must to book tours from this company ooo haa and if you can request for Jacky. You will the best trip of your life as he will take care of you from picking you up to dropping you off! Thanks for the experience! we will always remember this ☺️

We had a fantastic experience visiting the Sarawak Cultural Village and Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, and our tour guide, Hanafie, made the day truly special. He was engaging, informative, and made sure our whole family had a great time from start to finish. ​The highlight of the day was definitely Semenggoh—we were incredibly lucky to see the orangutans come out, and they hung around for a whole hour! It was a breathtaking sight and an absolute treat to watch them in their natural habitat. ​My kids (ages 12 and 14) thoroughly enjoyed both locations. Between exploring the traditional houses at the Cultural Village and watching the orangutans up close, it was the perfect mix of learning, culture, and nature for their age.

That was a well organised and very enjoyable tour. Billie, the guide, was quite knowledgeable and adjusted the itinerary and the food tasting to my needs. I learned a lot about kuching and the food and had a great time.

Vår guide, Din (stavningen kan ifrågasättas), var enastående och hjälpte oss verkligen att få bästa möjliga upplevelse. Han var så kunnig och väl förberedd på alla delar av turen. Vi fick se en stor variation av flora och fauna samt lära oss om miljön och lokalbefolkningens kultur. Boendet och maten i parken är inte lyxiga, men de är bekväma och fullt tillräckliga. Parken borde sätta in myggnät för fönstren i stugornas bakre badrumsdel. Vår resa till Bako var höjdpunkten på vår vistelse i Sarawak.

The tour was well arranged and we managed to get a private car to ourselves since no other people. managed to spot crocodiles and the elusive irrawady dolphins in the morning cruise.
