Sarawak

Un tour molt educatiu i agradable, recomanat. Senderisme de dificultat fàcil a moderada, fotos memorables. Malindo d'Ooo Haa Adventure Tours va ser un guia molt divertit i parla anglès amb fluïdesa. Ens va recollir del nostre hotel prop de Waterfront a les 7.30 del matí. [Per cert, també pot recollir a l'aeroport, però pot aplicar-se un càrrec addicional. Es poden deixar les maletes a la seva furgoneta.] El nostre tour va ser flexible, ja que el grup només constava de 5 persones. No vam aconseguir veure cap mico proboscis, però vam albirar molta altra fauna i flora salvatge. Fins i tot vam tenir una experiència amb peixos que mosseguen. L'esmorzar bufet de la cantina era justament comestible. Aquesta oferta de Klook és més barata que en altres llocs, fins i tot després d'incloure qualsevol propina addicional per a un viatge en vaixell d'anada per evitar el trajecte de tornada d'un sender difícil (50 MYR per a tot el vaixell, es pot compartir) i per al guia, ja que ens va agradar el seu servei. El viatge addicional en vaixell ens va portar a passejos costaners que d'altra manera no hauríem explorat per senders, així que val la pena. Amb la marea baixa, treu-te les sabates i camina per pujar al vaixell.

Unfortunately, it's fruit season in this park until the end of March or even mid-April, so the orangutans don't come to the feeding station. However, the guide, Mr. Mas Daud, suggested an alternative: another wildlife park, about an hour from Kuching. However, the animals there are in enclosures, as it's a rescue center and each animal has had a less-than-pleasant past. But I saw a lot on the circular route of about an hour. The guide was simply sensational, explained a lot, and when he knew that I was also interested in small animals, he stopped everywhere and showed me some that I, as a tourist, wouldn't have seen at all. All in all, a perfect afternoon tour, highly recommended.

Very friendly, accommodating, patient and helpful guide, Mr Yusuf and driver, Mr Foo. Shared interesting information and knowledge about Sarawak. Their cheerfulness and energy made the trip very interesting. Appreciate that very much. Highly recommended.

El nostre guia, Lucian, va ser el millor. Va ser càlid i molt ben informat. El recorregut i l'experiència van ser genials.

Our guide, Din (spelling questionable) was outstanding and really helped us have the best experience possible. He was so knowledgeable and well prepared in every facet of the tour. We saw a great variety of flora and fauna as well as learned about the environment and culture of the local people. The accommodations and food at the park are not fancy but they are comfortable and adequate. The park should screen in the back bathroom area of the cabins. Our trip to Bako was the pinnacle of our experience in Sarawak.

We were picked up at our hotel right on time by the very friendly guide Mas Daud and a driver (didn’t catch his name). The drive to Gunung Gading National Park took about 1.5 hours. We were greeted at the Park by Antonia, a freelance park guide. You can tell Antonia is passionate about her job and equally passionate about all the plants in the forest. We were regaled with information about the various plants and flowers we saw off the trail. And most important of all, we saw a fully bloomed Rafflesia!! It appears Antonia keeps track of all the Rafflesia buds and has perfect knowledge of the probability when these very elusive and beautiful flowers will bloom. She was able to point out numerous other Rafflesia buds which we wouldn’t have spotted at all. Be sure to request for the very friendly and very knowledgeable Antonia if you fancy catching sight of the beautiful Rafflesia when you are visiting the Gunung Gading National Park.

have a wonderful time with the guide Drika. He was well verses with the history of old kuching and provide lots of interesting fact as we tour around the city. would definately recommend this tour
