Restaurante în Central & Western District Promenade

This was my first time visiting for the lunch buffet since the restaurant renovation, and it was for a friend's birthday. The food quality was very high, with oysters, king crab legs, sashimi, chilled shrimp, and chilled conch available. While the variety wasn't extensive, freshness was paramount. It was a shame that on a Saturday, the restaurant was only about half full; I hope business improves in the future. The biggest surprise was the bar staff, who made specialty drinks for guests on the spot. Besides regular coffee or tea, she could also prepare iced lattes (no ice, no sugar) or coffee tonics. My friends and I were all very happy, eating and chatting slowly from 12 PM to 2:30 PM. It was a great weekend activity, and I highly recommend everyone try it!

This time, we booked the dinner buffet for a birthday celebration. The last time I visited was three years ago for the lunch buffet. While the variety of food isn't extensive, the quality is excellent. I'm grateful to the restaurant for arranging a window seat for us this time; the view was lovely. The evening atmosphere is much better than during the day. There weren't too many diners, and everyone was very orderly when getting food, allowing us to enjoy our meal in a quiet and comfortable environment. 👍🏻 A special mention goes to the attentive staff who constantly checked if any plates needed to be cleared. They even prepared a small cake and took photos of us with the night view from the window sill. 🙂 The theme of this buffet was Japanese cuisine, featuring dishes like sukiyaki and caviar wagyu sushi, which suited my current preference for lighter meals. Additionally, the ginseng chicken soup had a strong ginseng flavor without being too overpowering; I had three extra servings! The desserts were decent, and there was a good selection of homemade gelato flavors. One highlight was the unique baked goods; I even made my own mini pineapple bun. 🤭

Recomand cu tărie restaurantul The Astor ✨ Am venit special la restaurantul The Astor pentru a savura bufetul de prânz, iar experiența generală poate fi descrisă doar prin cuvintele „foarte mulțumit”. Indiferent dacă vorbim despre locație, servicii sau calitatea mâncării, totul mi-a depășit complet așteptările! Locație excelentă și convenabilă 📍 Restaurantul este situat în hotelul Eaton, o locație foarte convenabilă. Se ajunge rapid cu autobuzul sau la scurt timp după ce ieși din stația de metrou, extrem de practic. Designul general al spațiului restaurantului este foarte distinctiv, având atât o senzație de film retro, nostalgică, cât și confortul modern și elegant. De îndată ce intri, te simți relaxat și fericit. Serviciu impecabil al personalului 💯 Aș dori să laud în mod special atitudinea de serviciu a întregului personal din prima linie în acea zi! De la ghidarea la masă, la debarasarea farfuriilor și până la bucătarii de la fiecare stand de mâncare, fiecare persoană a fost zâmbitoare și extrem de politicoasă. Viteza de debarasare a farfuriilor a fost foarte rapidă și eficientă, fără a lăsa niciodată farfurii goale să se adune pe masă, și au fost mereu atenți la nevoile oaspeților, făcându-i să se simtă cu adevărat bineveniți. Calitate excepțională a mâncării și a fructelor de mare 🦀 Ceea ce m-a impresionat cel mai mult a fost bogăția și calitatea mâncării! Fructele de mare au fost extrem de proaspete, iar stridiile reci, crabii de pâine și alte produse au fost reaprovizionate extrem de rapid, nu am văzut niciodată un platou gol; varietatea de mâncăruri calde a fost diversă, fie că a fost vorba de carne de vită la grătar, pulpă de miel la grătar, mâncăruri gătite aromate sau deserturi rafinate, asezarea a fost perfectă, simțindu-se dedicarea echipei de bucătari. Secțiunea de deserturi a fost un final perfect, cu o selecție vastă de înghețată și diverse prăjituri mici rafinate, a căror calitate nu a fost deloc inferioară celei a cofetăriilor de lux. The buffet restaurant offers beautiful sea views and comfortable seating, with a reasonable variety of food. However, the hot soup dishes were disappointingly cold, not hot. The male staff member who cleared plates and served ice cream and desserts had an excellent attitude. A major drawback, though, was that precisely at 9:30 PM, when the buffet was scheduled to end, most of the chefs and staff collectively made loud, clanging metal kitchenware and cutlery noises that everyone in the restaurant could hear! This method of clearing metal utensils and rapidly removing food made it seem as if guests were not allowed to stay even one second longer! It was quite startling and embarrassing for customers, almost as if they were being rushed out. All the guests, including a foreign family of three who had arrived late and only had an hour to dine, quickly got up and left the restaurant with me and other patrons. In all my years of frequently enjoying buffets at various hotels in Hong Kong, I have never encountered a hotel restaurant where, precisely at closing time, most of the chefs would display displeasure and deliberately create loud metallic noises, subtly hinting for guests to leave quickly. This was a rare and unsettling experience! Adding to this unpleasant experience, there was a huge, terrifying painting at the restaurant entrance when I left. The painting had a dark, somber tone, depicting only two expressionless men and a child staring directly at you, with terrifying, bottomless black eyes and no whites. It was incredibly eerie and disturbing! No wonder I had previously seen comments from guests saying their seats were in front of this giant painting. I couldn't understand why such a terrifying and unsettling painting of men and a child would be displayed at the entrance of a five-star hotel's high-end restaurant. Seeing this horrifying painting as I left only deepened the unpleasantness of this buffet experience!

The Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel's buffet, "Steaming Hot All-You-Can-Eat Lobster, Unbeatable!" is the ultimate choice for a satisfying and abundant buffet. The food selection is rich and delicious, featuring both Chinese and Western dishes, and the buy-one-get-one-free price offers great value! However, because all the food options are incredibly tempting, even though I come here to enjoy the dinner buffet once or twice a month, I truly can't try everything! So, don't worry about the line for the "hot lobster" being longer than an army; many people, including myself, only eat half or one lobster. The reason is to save room for exploring all sorts of other delicious foods. You'll be surprised to find that soon "no one is queuing for lobster, because all the other delicacies are too good!" Also, the staff are polite and incredibly quick at clearing plates, true professional "plate-clearing specialists" – but they don't clear alien UFO "flying saucers." So, you definitely won't find any trace or information about the Hong Kong Marriott Hotel's "Pier Lounge & Bar" buffet's "generational plate-clearing specialists" in the recently declassified U.S. "UFO flying saucer files"! Haha!

I'd been wanting to try the dinner buffet at Yamm ever since I saw a YouTuber review it, so when I found a discount on Klook, I booked a table right away. All the food was delicious. The abalone and fish maw were tender and flavorful. They even had scallops for sashimi, which is quite rare. The cold appetizer selection was extensive, featuring lobster, bread crab, crab legs, razor clams, lobster claws, clams, mussels, snails, and more. The wagyu claypot rice, wagyu sukiyaki, and roast beef were all excellent. The char siu was lean yet juicy, and the Peking duck was also tasty. They offered grilled prawns, tempura, and foie gras toast. The dessert variety was impressive; you could even add red beans to your tofu pudding, which looked and tasted great. There was a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including juices, self-serve iced and hot lemon tea, coffee, and a coffee machine for various coffee drinks. The ice cream was individual cups of Häagen-Dazs. I wanted to go back for more of so many dishes, but my stomach was already full. I haven't had such a delicious buffet in a long time. The restaurant was well-staffed, plates were cleared quickly, and each food counter had dedicated personnel, so no one person was serving multiple counters. Food was refilled promptly, so there was no rush to grab items before they ran out, allowing us to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. Full marks!

Gradul de ocupare a fost de sută la sută. Varietatea mâncărurilor a fost bună, personalul a debarasat rapid, iar bucătarii au fost entuziaști și politicoși. Deși spațiul nu este mare și au încercat să pună cât mai multă mâncare în spațiul limitat, mesele sunt mici și apropiate. La jumătatea serii, a fost o sărbătoare cu tort de ziua de naștere pentru cei care își serbau ziua, pentru a face fotografii. A fost și cineva care a cântat la chitară și a intonat cântece de ziua de naștere, creând o atmosferă plăcută. După fotografii, a sunat un clopoțel și toată lumea a putut sta la coadă pentru a lua tortul Napoleon cu fructe asortate, care a fost delicios. Cele mai bune preparate din acea seară au fost limba de vită la grătar și farfuria individuală cu castraveți thailandezi și abalone. De fapt, 99% din bufetul de la Royal Garden este într-un spațiu închis, cu puține locuri lângă fereastră. Am fost foarte fericit că am reușit să stau lângă fereastră în această seară și să privesc spectacolul de lumini laser din Victoria Harbour la ora opt.

Pe 29 mai, am mers la Hotelul Harbour Grand Kowloon din Whampoa pentru un prânz tip bufet bogat (12:00-14:30). Prețul a fost rezonabil și a meritat pe deplin. Varietatea alimentelor a fost mare, iar calitatea și gustul au fost garantate. Personalul hotelului a oferit servicii excelente. Am fost de multe ori și nu am avut niciodată motive de nemulțumire. Am cerut o masă aproape de zona cu mâncare pentru două persoane, inclusiv un vârstnic, pentru a facilita accesul la alimente. Mediul a fost plăcut, cu ferestre mari din podea până în tavan care ofereau multă lumină naturală. Singura problemă minoră a fost că aerul condiționat nu a fost suficient, dar nu a fost o problemă majoră. În ceea ce privește mâncarea, am avut friptură de vită, care este preferata mea, sashimi de somon, caracatiță, scoici proaspete, creveți roșii proaspeți – toate proaspete și variate. Prăjiturile și deserturile au fost satisfăcătoare. Au existat mici lipsuri la tacâmuri, dar au fost completate rapid, probabil bucătăria nu a reușit să le spele și să le înlocuiască la timp.
