Very convenient to use. very easy to reserve seats with JR staffs. JR Chitose airport staffs were very helpful and speak English to tourists. we used it from CTS, Asahikawa, Wakkanai. Sapporo and back to CTS

JR pass is expensive but we ultimately still worth it for a 6-day trip travelling from Tokyo to Hokkaido, stopping at a few cities. It's very cost-effective and worthwhile.

Travelling as family of 5 chose Route LakeToya/Noboribetsu picked up scheduled was on time .Our driver Maki was very friendly and spoken in fluent mandrain makes communication as ease.He introduced us places and explained along the way .Had stop over at Little Hill farm to try out some ice cream was amazing.
